    Hello all.
    Well crappy weigh in for me this week.. Hope it's water weight.

    Been bad not exercising, back is still a littel sore at times.

    Today it's my birthday and I get shafted out of taking a lunch :explode:
    Leaving early today though.

    I think I'm going to start the wii exercising since it's alot less physical than p90x.
    Just lost the spunk for the last 2 weeks.

    Just found out hubby will not be home until LATE tonight so I will be able to get in a GREAT workout before he gets home, then turns around and leaves again for work again

    sanifrey - I certainly hope that my quote helps you with temptation during camping. Watch out for those smores!! I think you an definitely make the trip a good one with some hiking. Good luck and have a good time!

    It is a crappy week for weigh-ins, and I didn't even go trick-or-treating. :angry:
    I think it has to be stress related. They're dumping more work on us at work, and my relationship with my boyfriend of 11 months is hanging in the balance.
    I did make some great spaghetti for dinner last. I used whole wheat pasta and Jennie-O ground turkey.
    So, I am making adjustments, I just need to get through this crap if I am going to see any changes!

    I just got finished logging my food for the day so far. This is the first time that I have logged in months. I know for sure why I've gained weight. I haven't even had dinner, and I'm already 336 calories over for the day. I have like 700+ calories in the snack column. I'm getting ready to work out now, but I don't think I'm going to make that up. I have to start logging again!!! Hope you all are doing well.

    I'm so glad to be sharing this weight loss journey with you all.

    Taradise- thank you for the advise about putting in the workout dvd.

    This week I've still been going to bed late and when I wake up I am tired. I need to get myself back in the groove. I don't want to gain back all the weight I've lost so far.

    I think it's important to find a new motivation and to keep going.

    Thank you guys.......

    I just got done exercising inspite that I'm sore from two nights ago. I did 20 mins of cardio from sparkpeople on youtube. It was great. I burned 430 calories. i feel great. :drinker:

    Mornin all

    I did level 2 of the shred last night then 15 minutes of my Wii fit. I wanted to do more but the cramps were killing me:grumble: (sorry I know TMI). Will take tonight off I have worked out everynight this week. Maybe will do some more Wii fit.

    Good Morning Beautiful Blues! Hopefully you have seen my earlier posts but to remind everyone, I've entered our team into a Biggest Loser type contest with team Visualize This. I think this will be a great way to motivate us in a new way. :happy:

    So here are the guidelines thus far:

    - Weigh in is on Monday’s starting Nov. 9th (next Monday)
    - The first weigh in on Nov. 9th is our initial weigh in (no loss/gains will be posted on Nov. 9th)
    - We will post everyone’s individual pound change each weigh in but calculate a total team percentage lost.
    - The weekly winner is determined by the % of weight lost by each team.

    A new Topic on the message boards will be posted for this challenge. I’ll keep an eye out for it and post a link to it on our normal blog.

    One question I would like to ask the group :huh: … the Biggest Loser challenge requires us to weigh in on Mondays (which I think is good – encourages us to be good over the weekend), however, our normal weigh in is on Wednesdays. I’d hate to require folks to weigh in twice the same week. :noway: Should we change our Wednesday weigh ins to Monday? I’m open to ideas/suggestions…

    I am a firm believer that birthday cakes and wedding cakes have far less calories the regular cake! :bigsmile:

    So I figure we will continue to post in the chart format. We can always do two--I can keep a master list until the challenge is over and then we can restart to show what everyone has done, with individual start dates...
    I am open to twice a week weighins--Also to just weighing in on Wednesday and posting the chart on Monday. Or changing to Monday's only. It depends on what everyone else thinks. I agree that the weekends are my downfall so it may be better to just switch, give us a little more encouragement. :wink:

    I will post the next chart on this thread just to continue for this week until we know what we are doing...

    debnu1 - I totally agree. Lets continue with our normal blogs and current chart.

    Sounds like most people are ok with moving weigh in to Mondays. It's a scary move - we no longer would have extra time to make up for a "bad" weekend. But maybe that's a good thing. Maybe we all need a kick in the butt to control food over the weekend.

    Anybody totally against moving weigh in to Mondays?

    Turns out the whole moving to Texas thing isn't happening anymore. Oh well. Back to my routines...monday works for me!

    Thanks!!!! It made up for last week when I saw no loss at all. Reminds me to never get discouraged because the weight will come off with time.

    We didnt' gain this weight in 1-6 months, so we can't expect it to come off in the same time.

    Here's to everybody having one last bad weekend?:laugh: :glasses: :blushing:

    Mondays definately will keep people to try and stay on track for the weekends.
    Not only if you eat something bad, you won't have those 2-3 days to get some water weight off.

    tttthumper - yup, our last weekend before our own Biggest Loser challenge starts. Not an excuse to be bad though :grumble: (at least that's what I keep telling myself)

    pshook – I am excited for the Biggest Loser challenge too. I can totally see myself turning down a cookie saying 'nope, I’m not letting my team down this week!!'

    chrissyh – haven’t heard from you in a while. Miss your motivation! I believe she mentioned a trip to the beach this weekend.

    Ok sounds like everyone is all in for the Biggest Loser challenge that starts on Monday. I am really excited to face off against another team. A little competition might get in our heads and help make better decisions. Also, this challenge comes when we need it most – the HOLIDAYS!!! :drinker: I can use ALL the help I can get to say no to a second piece of pie. So remember to weigh yourself on Monday so we can all submit our initial weights for the Challenge on Monday.

    debnu1 – if you’d like, you can put our Monday weigh in as a new week on our normal weight chart and start a new blog topic like normal. I always forget to thank you for keeping us going and keeping track of everything - you are great!!! :drinker: :bigsmile: :heart:

    I am expecting to get everyones weights--hopefully early monday morning :wink: I will then have the same chart but with a new start so everyone's new weigh in is the start weight. I am going to keep the old chart just so we can see how far we really have come. I probably won't post that until the challenge is over though. I will post the new chart sometime Monday afternoon, evening--hopefully.

    Rach--Hopefully you are okay that things didn't pan out--good luck with your new plans. It is good to see your smiling face again!

    This challenge will certainly help us out. Unfortunately I can already feel myself wanting that one last bad weekend!! :noway:

    I have set a personal goal to lose at least a pound a week until Christmas. Totally doable--if I track myself.

    Taradise, thanks for the thanks. It isn't too hard to put everything together. Now that I figured it out anyway...:bigsmile: The good thing is it keeps me coming back--I have needed the incentive to still think weight loss lately. I don't know why all of my motivation dried up on me. I had set some rather lofty goals though. I have realized that if it is too hard I won't follow through so I have to know I can do it!

    Just a quick check in, as I'm supposed to be packing for my camping trip!! LOL!! Just wanted to report that I had a great pilates workout yesterday with Denise Austin (dvd) & this morning I went to step aerobics!!
    I'm hoping for some really great weather so that we can get some hiking & nature walks in!!

    Don't forget Monday's weigh in!! I just found out the Biggest Loser challenge will be against 3 teams... not just 2. Should be interesting!

    Today was a workout day off for me. But tomorrow is a spin class and weight training class.... I call it my last chance workout because its the day before weigh in :happy:

    Hi Beautiful Blues,

    I'm just done cooking dinner for my family. Went to the gym today and felt pretty good, even after not being at the gym for almost 2 weeks. I guess the body does remember.

    I was so excited shopping for an outfit today, since I have now moved down 1 skirt size. Feels pretty good.
