Doritos. Doritos with Franks. I put that *kitten* on everything.
oh, and McDonald's Fries.0 -
Anti depressents. That ish will blow you up 30+ lbs in a matter of months.
I stopped taking them. Strangely, after I stopped taking them and started losing weight, I felt less depressed. Go figure.0 -
Shoving one too many tasty cakes in my piehole.0

Beer, Pasta and cheese combined with a sedentary lifestyle. I ate pasta and cheese by the pound growing up and never adapted to the fact that I wasn't running or swimming miles everyday anymore. Oh, and a preggo wife. I ate whatever cravings she did for both kids but she got to immediately drop 9 lbs of the weight where I did not.0

Because I love to eat all the food........and after working > 9 hours a day and then getting home.....eating dinner.......getting the kids to bed.........I would much rather watch TV/ play video games than go back out to the gym.0
-
My desk job is where my fatness began...then my love for pizza, double red bull and vodkas, and cheese fries.0

"Because I love to eat all the food"
I hear ya, hahaha. I second that thought.0 -
PCOS and not doing what I was supposed to to keep the crazy weight gain at bay.
It's not totally my fault (seeing as I got diagnosed a 19, yet docs knew something was wrong since I was 9 and the never did a thing), but for the almost 4 years after, I should have done what I knew what I was supposed to do to help myself.
I'm happy I finally realize I need to take care of myself and not complain "WHY ME?!?!?!" all the damn time. Life comes with obstacles in one way or another.0 -
beer.
boom goes the dynamite0 -
Because there really is no food I don't like. Food was always used for celebration or reward and still is. After getting up at 5 am working all day..... home time with the kiddo....cleaning .....who the hell wants to go back to the gym at 9 pm ?
me that is why I am working on NOT being Fat because the difference in that pic up there in my av and now is that I crave my workout even if Im tired
I like to lift all the heavy things and set them back down again now0 -
i keep starting and stopping
eat good/eat like crap
mostly starting and stopping. i think even if i ate like crap and trained the results would be better than just stopping altogether LOL....ugh i can't stand being consumed by the all or nothing thought process :huh:0 -
Genetics, Birth Control, I started driving instead of walking all over town, Hit 18, ate whatever I wanted whenever I wanted. Mainly it was due to eating Fast food a lot and ice cream, cookies, etc.0
-
I battled my depression with toaster strudels.
No... for real. I ate my emotions for years AND that is why I got fat.0 -
German/Irish, slow metabolism, love of carbs, emotional eating, and laziness.
I love potatoes, starches, beer, meat, cheese, and extra portions.
This has been a year of relearning how to eat. Some I've been successful...0 -
Fast Food( Because it is cheap and easy), Candy( cause its cheap and easy), quitting Swim team and never getting back to it. Basically being broke is the reason I got fat. And being lazy and unmotivated.

Overeating0

I love things like cakes and cookies - i cant help myself around them. I'm also really bad with variety! If there is alot of variety i will eat some of everything - i'm bad at buffets and appatizers. I am really active so it helps but it only holds my weight I cant manage to get the 20 pounds off that i need to do.0

Interesting...I like it!:laugh:0

Processed, nasty *kitten* food. I'm getting better at this. And thus, losing the fat Yeah!0

Zero willpower, McDonald's, Desserts, Laziness, overeating, and Lexapro!0

Cake... restaurants that have 3 course set meals... cookies... so many reasons. All are brought on by not listening to my body, ignoring my feelings, and not exercising enough.0

*desk job during the week
*dead thyroid gland
*hubs is a great cook and loves steak
*refined carbs0 -
Beer... good food.... laziness.... more beer.... more good food....0

Because I thought I could continue to eat like I did while I was in highschool playing soccer year round, and running 90 minutes a day for track ontop of plyometrics and strength training0
-
I am not "fat" but wine is the reason I cannot reach my goals. Working on it though.0
-
erratic work schedules (3 jobs) most of the time having to eat whatever they serve you.
i spent about 10 years of my life in competition training for swimming and dancing so my eating habits were geared towards that.
i love to drink and bake and hanging out with friends always ends up including food---and my friends all have horrible, i'm always broke, fast food eating habits.0 -
I'd say genetics largely and the fact that my Mom 'loved' us with food growing up. Bad day-here have some junk, good grades-let's go to McDonald's. This is a hard thing to undo.0

Very simple more calories eaten than calories used. :glasses:0

Cuz when you have a tool like this, you need to build a shed over it.0
