My bottle of water is poison?
backwash into it and it will go stale.0 -
Oh, and is your orange juice is made from concentrate then it most definitley contains formaldehyde, same stuff used to perserve bodies. They have their way of putting stuff in and make it look good, like vitamin D being used as perservative etc. If you can open a bottle, backwash into it, put it in a drawer for a month and it doesn't spoil there's only one name for it - poison.
You do realize that no matter what you put it in it, juice will eventually ferment, right?0 -

It will grow bacteria but it will not spoil or go stale. Stale usually means the absence of moisture in food. Water doesn't go stale.0 -
I read labels religiously and 100% juice is just that. There isn't even filtered water added...of course there is sugar in it, it occurs naturally, but it isn't added and it isn't high fructose corn syrup either.
fructose, glucose, and dextrose are all called sugar.0 -
I thought this was about something else0

I'm sorry my english isn't the best, by stale I ment it will smell bad, meaning it will grow bacteria like you said and therefore your water isn't a poison. Now try that with juice from concentrate.0 -
I've been making "spa waters" with my infusion pitcher. One recipe that is supposed to give you an energy boost is apple-cinnamon. I slice up one apple and put that in the infusion tube with one stick of cinnamon, refrigerate for an hour, and by then the apple and cinnamon start mixing with the water. Tastes better than plain water and you can make all sorts of combinations. Cucmber-honeydew, lemon-lime, strawberry-mint...I try a different combo every two days.0

Anything made from concentrate, has added sugars. Otherwise every batch would taste different.
I thought Tropicana was NOT from concentrate?? Or what about apple juice that says NOT from concentrate?
Serious question.0 -
If you want to drink juice, there is Trop50 orange juice that is made with less sugar and is healthier. Otherwise, you can get vitamins from many better sources.0

My comment was srs, juice (100% natural, whatever) contains fructose because fruits contain fructose and sugar which breaks to glucose and fructose. Now, fructose by itself will not turn into fat and can be used by muscle, brain etc. But any fruit I know of will bring a good dose of glucose with the fructose which then leads to conditions favoring the fructose to fatty acid pathway.
Do your research.
Just so you are aware, pasteurization involves heating the juice to a certain temperature to kill bacteria. It does not involve additives of any kind.

And the concentration process involves removing the water from the juice through evaporation (again by raising it temperature and this removing its water) and then freezing what's left. Filtered water is eventually added back in. Again, no additives.

Not sure where you have gotten your information but you are grossly misinformed.0 -

Water has no smell. Even when exposed to bacteria. It is mildew, a fungus that causes smell. Our bodies a full of bacteria, but mildew spores are a sign of a serious problem.0 -
I drink juice but just 3-4oz in a glass of seltzer water. It helps break up the monotony of plain water while also "counting" toward my fruit goal. Fresh fruit is better, but juice is nice sometimes.0

I have a juicer, and I juice a lot of things! Dunno why, just figured it would have been healthier! Plus they taste amazing!0

It says on the front "not made from concentrate" so I'm pretty sure it isn't.0 -

Concentrate could be just about anything, it's a way to be vague about what you put in it. We are off on a tangent here, do you agree that juice made from a fruit will contain fructose that will be precursor to fatty acids ?0 -

I suggest you do more research then, cause I don't think you know what you think you know0
