I am trying to cut down on carbs and I love tuna... What can I do with it besides eat it out of the can? lol
I don't want to put it in pasta because of the carbs, or eat it on bread because of the carbs... Blah Help!

Chop up some celery and toss it in, mix it up. Get some lettuce and use it as a 'wrap'. It's reaalllyyy tasty.

I put about two stalks of celery in, some Miracle Whip Lite, and eat it out of the bowl. Yum!

It might sounds weird, but it's yummy........

I mix extra virgin olive oil and an acid (lime juice, lemon juice, vinegar) to make a vinegrette. Add chopped chilantro, diced tomatoes, and whatever else sounds good to you. A touch of salt and pepper.
I like it plain, on bread, on a wrap, etc.

I mix it in a bowl with Oil and Vinegar (Newmans is my favorite) and add whatever I may have on hand. Generally, diced avocado, shredded Parmesan, purple onion, celery, peppers, etc. If I have lettuce on hand I may wrap in Romaine leaves.

    curry tuna salad!

    Ingredients:
    1 can of tuna
1/4 cup of hummus [instead of mayo!]
curry seasoning [yellow - or you could use garam masala]

    it's around 220 calories and 30g protein

really delicious with a lettuce leaf wrap.

It might sound strange, but I love chopped apple in my tuna. It makes it sweet and crunchy. :)

I put a little light ranch in it, some celery or chopped apples/walnuts, and put it on bread or in a tortilla/lettuce wrap! So yummy! Or with relish and ranch. MMMM!

I add about a tablespoon of miracle whip to a can. Takes away that dry taste.

I do the mayo onion and dill pickle, just eat it without bread. Very little mayo. I eat it with a side salad and a vegetable.

The first time I heard about this (like 20 years ago) I thought it was the weirdest thing and thought my friend's parents were really weird. I finally tried it myself like 10 years ago and found that it was absolutely delicious. I'm a huge fan now!

Leave it in the can, salt, pepper & squirt of salad cream. Job done & no washing up.

I add a can or two to a bowl, mash it a bit and add diced onion, dry parsley, dry dill, salt, pepper, an egg, and a little breadcrumbs if it's too wet. Mash into patties, freeze to firm up 30-40 minutes, cook how you wish. Grill, bake, pan fry, anything :D
