Well, I hate when people look at my diary and comment about how I need to eat more. Uh..no. I don't.

It's public. I intended it that way.

But if I look GOOD and am healthy and am fine where I am at...why tell me to eat more?

I also don't do any cardio and only strength train 3 days a week. Why should I eat as much as someone who trains 5 days a week and does cardio? Doesn't make sense.

I guess people just look at my diary and aren't even reading my novel length profile(though I can't blame them...it's long!)

It's like people take a look at my diary...see that I eat below 1500(some days I might go below 1200) and scream anorexic. Not true. Look at the WHOLE picture first before just judging people on their diary.

Plus i had one person send me a private message about how i need to stop eating at boston market.(most of my food is homemade it's just easier for me to use their calcs...and I suppose most chains are a bit higher calorie than mine..and that's fine by me!) Just because my "food" might say a hamburger from mcdonalds or chicken from boston Market doesn't mean I went there. Just easier to count the cals and I'd rather estimate up than down.

its up to the individual person and what they eat you only point it out that eating that aint gunna do you no good.. it's up to the person on how bad they want it as to how they transition in the food department.. I want it bad enough that i cut out all sugar, chocolates, soft drinks, fast food and trained myself into thinking eating healthy... you can lead a horse to water but you cant force it to drink it..

I commented on someone that was eating like crap barely eating at all , boy was she pissed off at my comment.. don't post stupid **** and expect no one to notice...LOL
and it surprised you she got upset with your comments?? Really?? I can't imagine why you'd be surprised...

Plus a persons diary really doesn't tell the whole story about everything going on in someone's life.

Haha yes, same here. Some days I like to live vicariously through others.
Other days, I like to eat that junk (in moderation). I hope I'm not being judged for it!

Agreed! I just started looking at people's diaries tonight and 1) I'm surprised by how many people haven't logged anything (maybe it's a holiday weekend thing...?) and 2) the things people eat are shocking! A straight breakfast of Krispy Kreme donuts or 4 slices of Papa John's for lunch?? The thought of having to see all those calories in my diary is scary. I don't mean to be so judgy, but I definitely haven't been inspired by anything I've seen so far....

Try to be LESS judgemental....You never know WHAT another person is going through, what they know about Nutrition or what their finances are like.My Diary is open to friends.I'm happy that I have only received Good criticism from them and I would NEVEr think to leave a negative comment on their Intake.I appreciate them taking the time to track so that we all can learn from each other.

True story. My background is social work and behavioral health so positive reinforcement in a non judgemental atmosphere is key in my world regardless of the situation. Everyone is on the same path here on mfp just some ppl are further along that path. The point is we'll all get there with encouragement and inspiration! :)
