I'M DREAMING OF A WHITE CHRISTMAS...
It is COLD! We only have a bit and it is so cold it won't be melting anytime soon. We need to get dumped on so there is enough to ski and snow shoe on.

    Calories: yes
    Exercise: yes
    Water: yes +
Proud of: Not giving into my son to stop for take-out when in town.

    Calories: 1,350
Exercise: 30 minutes stationary bike & repeat of w2d1 of C25K (YAY!) - 847 calories burned
Water: I have 14 cups logged, but I think it was actually a couple more. It's easy to lose track when you're floating away...
Proud: I got back on track with my water intake and back on track with my Couch25K training. My knees felt good, but since I had to take a week (really almost 1.5 weeks) off, my stamina decreased so I need to remember to take it slow and take my time. I'll get there.

The scale is going nuts on me so I'm ignoring it for a few days. I was down to 234 Sunday and this morning I was all the way back up to 236. I think I'm ovulating (tmi :embarassed: ) so I'm probably retaining some water. Stupid girl hormones. :grumble:

I was over on my cals yesterday
    under on my water
    no exercise

I am not too proud of my self for this one. Today is a new day and I will do better. TOM surprised me this morning. That almost never happens. I usually can tell right away that it is coming but not this morning. That explaines a lot and it is early.

Awestfall - Welcome back! We missed you. :flowerforyou: Glad you're feeling better.
Momma - You're absolutely right -- Today's a new day and you're going to have a great one! You are doing this and you're doing a great job.

Someone brought cookies to work for everyone. I thought I was in the mood for a little chocolate chip cookie so I selected the smallest one. It was so sweet, I threw half of it away. I still have a sickeningly sweet taste in my mouth no matter how much water I drink to try to wash it out. Blech! (Really? Chocolate chip cookie = blech? :noway: Yep.) Before I would've thought it was blasphemy to throw a chocolate chip cookie away. So, between this and the Oreo Blast incident this weekend, it looks like my taste buds have changed their preferences. Cold turkey on the candy & most other sweets was obviously the right way to go for me (I was as "addicted" to sweet stuff as is possible).

We have a chocolate lab and he is so hyper in the snow. He loves it.

jlb123: It is crazy that our taste buds change like this. I wouldn't have believed if I had not experienced it. Hope your knee is fine with the exercise.

momma2four: I have the don't want to do anything feeling today. It is cold and the wind is blowing what snow we have around. I just want to curl up with a book by the fire.

Iwent and picked up my dvd's I borrowed from my library and I did one. I feel good and I burned over 300 calories in 30 minutes. I opted for the shorter workout because it was my first. I think tomorrow I will be adding in on more session for a 45 min. work out.

THank you so much Zora !!! Your prayers have helped !! I do feel a bit better each day.I kind of overate today but I think its because I haven't ate hardly anything for the past few days.I did manage to exercise though for 30 minutes on my elliptical so I am proud of that. Now to get my eating back under control. Thanks again for your kind words and thoughtful prayers.May God bless you and keep you always.

Thanks to everyone who kept me in there thoughts and prayers.I have been feeling alot better with each passing day.I did manage to exercise today but I overate and I think I overate because I haven't had much of an appetite for the past few days so today I suppose I made up for that.I will get it back under control tomorrow.I probably haven't lost a thing this week but I am trying still.

I am happy to hear you are getting better, awestfall!

I am feeling moody and sensitive and crying at the drop of a hat and lethargic and definitely NOT exercising today. And no, it is not TOM because TOM hasn't come to visit me in over 8 months! And for all I care, TOM can never come back! LOL

    cals: OK
    water: waaaay under
    exercise: ha ha. NO
proud: I spent three hours at the high school fixing the broken light board in the theatre. I got it to work OK, but not perfect. I guess I am proud of that!?

Sorry so crabby. Will be much better after my show is over tomorrow night.

    Calories: 1,090 (oops...)
Exercise: 30 minutes stationary bike 30 minutes walking - 574 burned
    Water: got it
Proud: I was craving pizza at work and after work last night but didn't do it. I think I may have a "shock my metabolism" day Saturday & make my own pizza at home. Yummmm. But knowing me, my intentions to go over on calories will just end up with me not going over calories at all. I'm trained pretty well at this point.

Edit: Oh, I just realized yesterday was my 3 month (13 week) anniversary with MFP. No matter how much the scale bounces around this week, 34-36 pounds lost in 3 months is pretty great! (*toot toot*)

This week is just annoying me...I have no energy, still exercising even though i really really don't want to and eating good...i didn't put any cals in past lunch time, but not cause I was eating way to much and didn't want to see how bad i was doing,i just was cranky and didn't feel like it, but I know i was probably way under...water was cruddy yesterday.

if i could just go back to bed and sleep all day i would :(

OK, so I've been on a Cheetos Crunchy Cheese curl kick for like 2 weeks. Today I noticed while eating my lunch that there were little blue spots all over the white paper plate I was eating from. I thought that was weird, but knew that it had to be something from the Cheetos. I looked at the bag and it states "Turns Tongues BLUE".... I mean seriously.... how healthy is THAT!!?!? What the heck are we feeding our kids? I'm throwing the bag away...blue dye, unreal.

LOL, like it's so difficult to convince kids to eat Cheetos without the blue dye! Why in the world would they do that to Cheetos? I mean I could understand (though wouldn't agree with) milk or veggies or whatever healthy foods picky kids won't eat, but Cheetos? Insanity.

agreeed....my kids would eat cheetos or any kind of chip normally, is it necessary to put blue dye on it.

I am proud of my self, i usally have a cheese sandwich for lunch every day, and last week and this I try to have an apple with my lunch instead of the chips. You should see these freaking apples i bought this week..I thought they were the same ones i got last week, they are huge. takes me like 20 min just to eat it.

    Hi Ladies!

    Having a good day.

Way to go momma, going for one hour.

That is craziness that blue dye is added to Cheetos. I haven't see that advertised yet. I have stopped buying chips and we haven't missed them. When we have Mexican I will buy tortilla chips for salsa, and that's it. My kids would eat only chips as an after school snack, like a half a bag, and by not having them in the pantry they find other things to eat.

lildebbie the apples have been wonderful this season. I also bought pears this week that are delicious .

Anybody else feeling it with the leg challenge. After the two mile walk with Leslie Sansone the leg lifts are FEELING IT! On the MFP diary it says the 30 min. of brisk walking is 184 calories and I feel like I burned more walking than I do on the bike. I guess I need to try a heart rate monitor to compare.

It seems to be really quiet on here in the days. Hope everyone is doing well.

Okay so here I am talking to myself:huh: I just might start answering myself. So where is everyone?!?!?

    Exercise: yes

    Calories: 1199
Exercise: 30 minutes exercise bike - 371 burned
    Water: Got it
Proud: Hmmm... Proud I stepped up my water intake when I realized I was slacking a little last week.

I've been having a hard time making it to 1200 calories over the last couple of days. I just haven't been hungry which is pretty weird for me. I know I can't just "listen to my body" and not eat when I'm not hungry because I want to keep up my metabolism, but right now I'm kind of forcing a fajita down my throat just to make it up to 1199 for the day which doesn't seem like a great answer, either. :ohwell: At least the fajita is both healthy and delicious.
