Dear annoying co-worker!

One of my coworkers *****es about everyone else constantly. Of course she's PERFECT at her job, when she bothers to show up for it. How she still is employed, I'll never know.0
-
I shouldn't do this, and I feel bad, but I've been wanting to unload this for a while. I love love love my cubical mate, she's an awesome person, but sometimes ...
She'll talk and talk and talk some more. Sometimes I look at her while she's going on and on about her family and the conversation in my head is, "really, you're telling me this story again? Please SHUT UP!!" I of course am smiling and nodding placidly.
She also has no critical thinking skills. She's been in this job for only a year less than me but is constantly asking me the most elementary of questions. I often have to correct her work and she had no idea that anything was wrong with it. She's constantly giving supervisors and customers incorrect information.
Like I said, I really love her most of the time, but we do spend more time with each other than with anyone else in our lives so I suppose it's normal that she drives me a bit nutty on occasion.0 -
this thread brightens my day.
my boss puts scotch tape on her face to exfoliate throughout the workday.
she refuses to touch her garbage can, so she moves it with her feet.
she will not say the word "keep." no explanation there; we just can't get her to say it.
she is on the phone with personal calls 4-5x/day.
she's still making everyone look at pictures from her vacation...from june.
she does very little work all day, and what she does is very slow. but when she doesn't feel i'm working hard enough, she'll walk up and down the hall asking everyone if they have work for me.
PHEW. alright now i can get through another day.0 -

exfoliates with SCOTCH TAPE. That's it...this thread is done. That's the winner.0 -
I had a coworker that was the subject of a post to a thread yesterday about horrible roommates.
We worked in a medical call center, screening patients and the like. She'd hit on the patients, and later I'd find that she'd brought several of them into our home! All she did was talk about her sex life at work (which is why she got fired - thankfully the people she was talking to were not in trouble because the higher-ups realized what was going on). When she was fired they made me go through and clean her desk and take her personal items to her.
The pair of worn stockings sticking out of a bin really got to me. I knew she had been staying late some nights, but I didn't expect *that*.0 -
I call myself a "hydration executive"...I make the office tea/coffee basically. One thing that annoys me is the amount of tea I've ended up drinking in this job because the ladies I work with (and make tea for) are addicts!
My boss is the most annoying, I have to copy type letters etc but his hand-writing is APPAULING! I'll sit for a good 20 minutes staring at a word and just not be able to figure it out. He also wants things done hand-written that would be far better suited to spread-sheets and databases.....also likes things saved on 9 1/2 inch floppy disks because usb drives are "unstable"!!
Other than that it's just the amount of cake and biscuits that are around constantly!! :grumble:0 -
I had one coworker that was overweight and constantly complained about how the "skinny bi$#hes" got all the good guys and left nothing for her, all the while eating a Little Debbie brownie. She'd man bash all day in front of customers and say vulgar crap to the males....then she'd get mad when they didn't pay attention to her. She screamed of desperation and failure. Once she had a guy meet her at the store (without asking, I was her manager, I'm cool about that stuff but c'mon) and she wouldn't let me go past the counter because she thought if he saw me he wouldn't want her. Ends up I knew the guy anyway, lol.
Then she'd sit and do nothing all day but look up porn.0 -

dear co-worker,
please stop telling me i'm thin as a bag of bones now, it makes me feel really uncomfortable during this weight loss process.
just cause i'm at a healthy weight doesnt make me the bag of bones!
People say that when they're jealous of your success. There is no other reason to call someone a "bag of bones". It's offensive and rude.0 -
My only real complaint about my coworkers is that none of them are competent.0
-
My coworker likes to snack at certain times of the day, which is fine, buuuuut I don't want to hear you crunching with your mouth wide open and making weird noises while you chew your food. Really grosses me out. Like I cringe at my desk.0
-
My cubicle neighbor talks to herself...and when feeling extra saucy, she answers her own friggin questions. A while back, I told her in a cartoon voice (something my little boy always says), "I will stab you".
Come to find out, her ex-hubby used to physically abuse her...I felt like the ultimate jerk. She doesn't talk to me, but she still talks to herself.0 -
Several ladies in my office wear sandals and flip flops. I find that gross. We are not at the beach and I do not want to see your toes at the office. Wear closed toe shoes!! And most of them also wear sleeveless shirts and tank tops. I don't want to see your arm pits either.0
-
You guys are making me laugh so hard... people at work are going to think I am insane. Love this!0

Dear annoying co-worker,
You have been wearing the same shirt and the same camo shorts for 2 months now, I know because my cubical partner keeps track. I do not want to come across as an a**hat but you work with your mom and she drives you to work... Shouldn't she say something at least? I mean I understand people don't have alot of money but... You can at least have one other change of clothes right? And please for the love of God TAKE A SHOWER... PLEASE.
Anyone else notice people like this or is it just me?
Has he worked there long?? Is there any chance he's homeless? Or mentally handicapped? Or an addict of something? I don't get how his mother could let him get to that point...
I'm having a two second serious moment. I promise not to do it again soon.0 -
I don't have a job right now, but here goes!
Dear former annoying co-workers,
I wish you knew how happy I feel while eating my delicious, giant, homemade bowl of food while the two of you starve yourselves on heatlhy choice meals. It really fuels my fire to keep going with my weight loss knowing I can eat more than you and still lose more weight.
Eeek...that sounded meaner than I ever felt about it when I worked there, but ugh. All they did was complain about not losing weight.0 -

OR maybe he has multiple pairs of the same shorts and shirts, some guys actually do this.0 -
Dear scary co-worker. I know everybody gets frustrated but I'd feel much safer if you took your list of 10 people you want dead off the wall. Your pay grade is frozen for good reason; your boss and his boss are on that list. Also, on Fridays when you bring an ironing board and iron into work, and in front of the whole office iron your 'weekend shirt'... and the worst that happens is your boss whispers "please don't do that". You know you've gone *kitten*-over-tit captain's left the ship crazy.0

My annoying co-worker constantly interrupts me when I'm trying to speak. Dude, don't come in my office and ask me a question and interrupt my answer! I'm sorry. Did the middle of my sentence interrupt the beginning of yours?0
-
Dear Boss. I know you haven't talked to me in 2 days. That does not give you permission to call me and hold me hostage to my phone for 3 hours. Let's just not be ridiculous today. k?:0

They have the same bleach stains...... And the same big yellow stain on the shoulder...0 -

Dear annyoing co-worker,
Please stop sniffing countinually through out the day, every day! I know you likely have tourettes but using a tissue couldn't hurt. Also when you come into my office to ask a question and after awhile I say I am busy go back to work it means I am done talking to you. Please leave and please stop finishing EVERY conversation with "whatever" or "oh well."0 -
Dear entire department.
Please never agian ask me to contribute for any parties or events at the facility. My Birthday was a few weeks ago and not only did you guys not throw me a party AGAIN this year I didnt even get a card or a happy birthday from my boss. However another department was nice enought to decorate my entire office in happy birthday banners and you come into my office and stand there like you are blind. Also throwing a party for the lady in the department no one could stand cause she was leaving the week after my birthday really was the cake topper and dont act suprised that I didn't come either.
Dear Doctor that thinks your better than everyone else,
Contrary to your own personal belief you don't actually know everyrthing and while I'm may be a "lowly" nurse in your opinion I've also been doing this for 13 years so please dont treat me like a slightly slow child before I stick that chart down your throat,0 -
I really hate how coworkers ask me questions the minute I walk in. Like before I've actually started my shift or logged on to my computer. Worst of all it's all stuff they should either know by now or can easily look up.
^^^^^OMG^^^^^ THIS!!!!!!!!
As soon as I step through the door I get one of the following from THE SAME PERSON EVERY DAY ....
1) asked stupid questions about things they should already know or that I've told/shown them a million times before
2) told about something that is completely irrevevant to me.
3) Or I get a whole schpeel of moaning or negativity about some stupid carp
4) Or ask me a question, and then talk over my answer ... GRRRRRR!
So...
Dear Annoying Co-Worker,
I've just stepped through the door, I DO NOT WANT TO HEAR IT!!!!!!

Oh yeah, that's their fault. They're pouring down your throat, I'm sure.
oh come on, it was clearly a joke! This is a jovial thread, have a sense of humour. and just to make sure you grasp what I was getting at, no, my official job title is not Hydration Executive  I make cups of tea for them when I don't have one myself multiple times a day! No, they're not pouring it down my throat, but a nice chat over a cuppa is an essential during the work day.0 -

bwawhahaha, that is exactly what I was thinking. I live in Texas in 110+ summers, I am wearing sandals and sleevless shirts (while still managing to look professional)
There is a co-worker here that we are pretty sure is dating her cousin.
There is the token "know it all' and hypochondriac. The hypochondriac is really irritating because she used to go to the ER for EVERYTHING and each year our HR department would give a big spchell about not going to the ER for a headache and go to your regular doctor because it drives everyone's premium up. I think she took that as a personal challenge to see how many times she could go to the ER after that. :explode:0 -
Oh lawd I had some great co worker stories from years past.
Taking the cake was the lady who prided herself on how little she spent on herself. Cut her own hair, rarely washed it, food in her teeth, dandruff so bad it looked like it was snowing in the office, all she wore were moo moo's and birkenstocks, the part of the leg that did show looked like a hairy man leg.
Current one is the lady that lives breathes and talks horses 24/7. She feeds her horses before coming to work and then comes to work smelling of wet hay and will even have hay on herself, and also a stray road apple stuck to her boot. One time we had pie that someone brought to share, the leftovers sat for two days uneaten not refrigerated, I threw the pie's out. She dug the pie's out of the trash can insisting they were still good and was going to take them home. I ran outside and puked.
Oh and carpool sharing, that's so incredibly scary and crazy :laugh:0 -

He seems a normal teen, I have talked with him a few times and he seems absolutely normal to me. Maybe there is something I do not know, but he has a car. I have seen it a few times when his mom could not make it in to work. (she sits right nest to me)0
