Am I the only super slow runner on the planet?

Only for snobbish people who like to belittle others. Running is running regardless of the pace. (and no, I'm not saying you're belittling others, but many people use the term jogging to do so). Running is a gait. The same gait as jogging, just like there's no difference between walking slowly or walking fast in terms of the gait.
Really? Interesting. I read it on a couple of running technique/instruction websites.
So there's really just 'walking/running/sprinting' then?
Walking is a gait where at least one foot is in contact with the ground at any given time. Running is a gait wherein both feet are off the ground at once. Jogging is a slower run; sprinting is a faster run. Jogs/sprints are subjective and the speed and definition depend on the individual.
I get sad when my friends who are just beginning to run or have a slower pace disparagingly say, "oh, I was only jogging..."
If both feet are off the ground at once, even if it's only for a split second, it's running. You can call yourself a runner whether your pace 14 minute miles or 6 minute miles.0
