I don't think there is any reason you couldn't do 30ds -- you can use extremely light weights, modify all exercises, and work entirely at your own pace as far as reps go -- and when you move on to more advanced routines.

I did it and could lift a 34 canister of cat food or run for more than 10 seconds without being expremely winded. The routines are on youtube, I'd seriously check it out.

Thinking about it. My confidence level is very low though. I can't even do 5 push ups without feeling weak in my legs.

Then get over yourself, get out of your head, and do it man! Geeze!

Stop posting BS and people will stop calling you out on it.....simples.

    *sigh*

And BTW - its more than just one thing you said.

    see_the_big_picture_elephant_232345.jpg

All of you are just as responsible to not respond to everything that you find outrageous on the internet. Even if it was half the amount I posted (which I'm really not sure any more, I seriously think it was 1,000 lbs but I guess I was wrong), the point is that I have strong legs and puny arms.

ADVICE: Quit getting hung up on the small details and look at the big picture.

I'm not trying to start a flame war. But I'm sick of all the pots calling the kettle black....

And again.....quit giving out BS. Why don't you just admit that half of what you posted here is complete and utter cr*pola. I mean, are you telling me that you clean and jerked 2 x the world record and equaled the world record in back squats? Now...you have finally admitted (kind of) that you were completely wrong about what you said you lifted.....its all good!

I understand you are a Highly Sensitive Person, or whatever. Fine. But please don't for a second think that people are going to roll over and let you waltz in claiming outrageous fitness feats and not wonder or question... and even go on to poke fun at you. This is the INTERNET. Outrageous things on the internet are prime targets... just as they are in real life. You must already understand this, being the highly sensitive person you claim to be.

Also... if you have strong legs and puny arms genetically... well, guess you just gotta deal with the hand you were dealt. Don't you want to focus on developing some upper body strength since they are so puny, as you claim?

My advice is to get a pull-up bar and put in your bathroom door (or any door) and work on chin-ups graduating to pull-ups. And work on doing push-ups as well. At least until you decide to start lifting weights. You can be working on those in the meantime.

    :laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh: 1,000 lb squat, in highschool!! :laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

    Clean and jerk 1,300 lb!!

bahahahahahaha. I can curl 400lb with one arm bro, and shoulder press 600 lb dumbells while holding a lunge. Lets not forget my pullup routine, 50 pullups every day with 200 lb hanging from my waist (coincidentally, I walk around with this much hanging from my waist daily, no dumbells necessary what uppp)

Just once I want to create a thread and have it be 1 page long, get the answer I'm looking for, and just die off without any bullying... Just ONCE!

    tumblr_magoxyAYry1rpultr.jpg

I am an idiot and I deserve all the abuse, bullying, and relentless insults because I posted a completely impossible thing on the internet about myself that could not possibly be "fact". :brokenheart:

Can we let this thread die now? I got what I wanted from it, a work out regime, can we stop picking on the puny guy who isn't afraid to speak his mind and say what he believe is true?

P.S. - No one, and I mean no one, deserves abuse. This is bs what you all are putting me through each and every time I passionately post about my situation looking for answers.

Completely and utterly disrespectful. Let's not kick the guy on the ground okay? Funny as it may be, would you like it if it was you?

EDIT: And yes, I am low on testosterone. Doesn't make me any less man than you.

If you didn't want this attention you wouldn't continually come to the forums with such asinine statements.

But, you've given us all "HSP" to play with for years to come, so I thank you for that.

No, you don't have to take it. You are a self-made victim, it would seem. Gender, psychological and personality disorders, and having puny arms and low testosterone have nothing to do with that.

Don't bring upon yourself these things and you won't have to take it.

I've read Aron's book. Many people could be classified a HSP, myself included. It's yet another means of psychological classification, and a weak one in my opinion. But whatever. I think you are an attention *kitten* plain & simple. Not saying you don't have other issues... but highly sensitive persons aren't immune to understanding the difference between CAUSE and EFFECT and some simple social phenomena.

By now, you know you're going to be laughed at coming in here saying these things. So.. you either want the attention, or you're some sort of masochistic self-made victim.

Or I expect people to not respond the same way because of their ill behavior. What's the point of learning from your mistakes if no two mistakes are the same? Different people, different temperaments, different beliefs, and different tolerances to diversity. The way I see it, be myself and hope it goes well... If not, then oh well; no point in trying to control something out of my control.

  • I did 30DS this summer. I have never been "in shape," so I worried a lot about it. I'll put your mind at ease, you can do it! You just need a couple of hand weights (choose a weight that seems good to you - I started with 2 pounders, and then got some 3 pounders near the end). There is a lot of jumping, so you may get sore knees, as I did. A cheap Muller jumping knee strap from Amazon ($6ish) will help that. (I wish I knew about those BEFORE I did the 30DS!!) Also, there are 3 levels of the 30DS. I did about 10 days per level, and I did it every day. Some people do every other day and spread it out over time. It's really a great kick in the pants for toning and general fitness. PM me if you want more info.

In every thread I'm ever in from now on, I'm going to talk about my bad gallbladder. Because, you know, it's relevant.

Or maybe my inability to do most math. It's been a source of sadness for most of my life. Woah is me.

I'm sure I can find something to talk about in every thread I'm in that has nothing really to do with the subject and really isn't anyone's business but makes me look really special.

Where's Dana Carvey when you need him? Could it be .... SATAN???

Wouldn't it have been easier and faster to use Google to find a workout regime yourself? You know that people are going to pick away at your threads, and you let them by responding to them like you are now.

You were asking to be baby fed a workout program because you claim you're too weak to do any program that any other beginner could do.

Did you even look into the books I suggested?

Perhaps try going to a library if you want more solid, factual information. People there are quieter then they are here.

And oh yeah. If you only want a thread to be a page long, stop giving us more posts to feed off of.

I have to say, constantly coming back here without doing any real leg work, then whining every time someone says something you don't like is just pathetic.

I don't want attention, I just don't like trash talkers. If people would stop saying mean things behind my back I'd let it die. But all you emotional predators have to get your two cents in and I am not going to allow it. Keep your drama and abuse to yourself and show some respect.

I am sorry for being wrong, I promise you I will be wrong again.

Challenging your claim to have lifted more than current world records in HS is not being an emotional predator, or abusive, or bullying. You're using sensationalist terms incorrectly to your advantage. Saying things like that is why people are so quick to respond negatively to your post. Everyone that disagrees with you is not an emotional predator. It pisses people off to be called names or accused of abusive behavior when they're not. Get a grip. HSP or not, you have to interact with the world based on the already established rules of society, not your own rules. Certainly, nobody else is going to adhere to your rules. I get that because of said condition you hardly leave your house and interact with the world IRL, but you have chosen to make several posts on an open, public internet forum. You have no control whatsoever over who responds to your post or how they respond, and you agreed to those terms when you posted. Deal with it.

It would behoove you to collect people you don't consider 'abusive' and pose these questions privately on your wall if you only want those people to respond. Obviously, that would be extremely limiting to the amount of knowledge and varied experiences you get, but you don't want those anyway. If you post in a public forum that you are a world record holder, you should expect response from that. Funny, I suspect that if nobody responded to that particular claim, you would feel ignored and neglected that nobody appreciated your amazing feats.

    Edit: typo.
