Well well well.....
In the last week, we have grown in numbers and gotten ready to start this year. So here is the first of many challenges. Many people refer to the new year as a "clean slate." a chance to start a new. It only makes sense for us to start by making out bodies a "clean slate" So we are starting with a bang with a TWO part challenge. From now until next tuesday you are challenged to the following.
#1: MFP suggests you drink 8 glasses of water daily and that it just what you are going to do. Your water is not only important for hydration but it is also instrumental in removing "Icky" stuff from your body. So lets clean that slate and flush out the holidays.
#2: The holidays are a wonderland of sweet treats. well this week is NOT. No sweets. No cookies, cakes, candy ect.... Their are some food items that walk a thin line but I will leave that desicion up to you. But you know what "sweets" are and I expect that those sugar loaded goodies are not part of your gameplan. We are taking this week to get that sugar out of our system and get our bodies ready for the road ahead. The holidays are over and while it is acceptable to have sugar plumbs dance in your head, you better make for darn sure none of them are dancing down your throat.
Reminder*- If you have not sent me a weigh in yet please do so by tommorow evening so I can get it on the spreadsheet and posted. I have a bit of programing to do to get it set up as their are so many of us so I will get the starting weights posted as soon as I can. As you know this week's weight in will be considered a starting weight for this year. Now I have to get to the gym and get a run in.
For those of you who watch, Enjoy the biggest loser and I look forward to what we can accomplish!

Oh dear...water drinking no problem, but the sweets. The gang where Jim works has no idea that I am sending the remaining cookies and Christmas goodies their way. Evil plan but it gets it away from me.
Thanks Andrew !!0 -

Thanks Andrew !!
Yeah thanks Andrew! While the goodies disappear away from her, they are still with me. My problem is the water drinking. Bobbi is always asking how much water have you drank today, ummmm none. I'm a diet coke addict. I'll give it a shot.0 -

I used to hate water. I've learned to love it. But yah, used to love me some diet coke. lol0 -
Got a good run in tonight. Neck/shoulder is still tight but better.
Just a reminder that weigh ins should be reported to me through Private Message as it's easier for me to keep track.

Holy Moly-- look at that list-- woooooooooooooooooo--
This is the year, my friends-- God bless you all. I must share with you, gabby ol' goat that I am, my story--
I'm a mother of 9-- my husband has been unemployed for over a year, we are in danger always of losing our home...for the second time. I have psoriatic arthritis, which has been very, very painful.
I have been fat to some degree all my life-- and in June '08 I sat in the doctor's waiting room and saw the Today Show's "Joy Fit Club," that was featuring a woman from Ohio who'd lost 150 pounds.
I sat there thinking, "Damn-- if she can do it, why can't I?" It clicked that day, sweet new friends-- I can't explain it any better than that. I vowed that day to take off my needed 50 pounds by my next birthday in June '09.
As you can see, I didn't quite make the goal date, but I've never stopped trying. And won't! I vowed to take control over this enemy once and for all, and defeat it.
I pray that you all have experienced the "click" and that this will be your year to conquer this enemy-- whether it's been a lifelong one, or a more recent one-- this enemy can be defeated.
Stay here with us-- work with us-- laugh with us-- cry with us-- yell with us-- love with us-- we'll be there for you as we've been for each other this last wonderful year--
I'm done yapping-- swear! (you'll learn I ramble-- )
Blessings be yours this day, my friends-- new and old-- let's kick some butt and defeat this enemy!!!!0 -

Thank you for organising this spyguy.
The water is no issue, sometimes I think that I actually drink too much of it! The sweets ar getting easier to avoid as well, but cookies :grumble:
We have had (a little by the rest of UK standards!) snow over night and all of the schools are closed, so once my dear children are all awake we will be going out to play in the garden0 -

Welp so much for the gym it 456 am and they lights would come on again, maybe this is a sign that I only need to go once a day!!! Well no sense in going back to sleep guess I will do some dishes oh but dont worry its my day off and I will be there after I take DD to school0 -
I'm eager to begin....can someone tell me how to 'tag' this thread? I keep having to search and am afraid I will lose it.

I am SOOOO jealous you get to go to the gym that early in the morning. Ours opens at 5, but my husband has to leave for work at 5:30...and it's a 20 minute drive to the gym. Soooo....no early morning gym for me. Enjoy the gym after school drop off!0
