honestly i'd rather wear a white t-shirt than try to sew my own wedding dress. my grandma tried to teach me to sew for YEARS and i mean years, and the fanciest thing i ever made was a small quilt, much easier than a dress. sewing is very difficult, so unless you have the motivation to really learn, i suggest you start looking elsewhere for a dress! save yourself a big headache.
