Christy ~ Congrats on your loss! below is a link for recipe counting. I think all you do is put in your ingredients and it tally's it for you. I just googled real quick and found this one. When you go to the site, on the top R side is a tab to click for "free recipe counter". HTH! I have never used it but I now I might. I always just kinda tallied things myself, not really sure.,..so this is kinda cool! If anyone else has a suggestion, please share, and thanks! :bigsmile:

Well, I am down a lot, like normal when I start back at it. 192.4 lw and cw is 184.6, for a total of 7.8 lbs. I think it was in September when SHGP's formed...so really only .4 from my start wt....:ohwell: I am determined this year to get closer to my goal OR there. Thanks to this site and you guys, all the encouragement and support has truly helped me. Exercise only 135 min of my 300 goal. That needs some more effort on my part. I will shoot for 300 next week. Another snow day here...if this keeps up, we'll be going into June!0 -

Well...weighed this morning and I was at 240..my SW was 250 and my MG (mini-goal) is to weigh in the low 230's by Jan 29th!!
My goal this week is to get up and eat breakfast every morning. I've really been slacking in that department and I know how important it is to have it.

Good morning Hot Peppers!!!
I weighed in at 219.6 this morning. I lost 2.4 lbs this week!! Woo hoo!! :drinker: I fell short of my 300 minute exercise goal for the week. I had 255 minutes. I'll do better this week. Today is going to be my rest day mostly because we are going to see Ron White tonight!! It was my present to DH for Christmas. We're going with my DS and BIL. Tomorrow I'm going to finish week 1 of C25K. My goal for next week is to do week 2 of C25K on Mon, Wed, & Fri and BL Boot Camp on Tues & Thurs. Of course plans may change a little if my sister and I decide to go back to Zumba.
Zumba was a blast last night. I was really nervous before it started. I have NEVER been to an exercise class before. Basically it is an aerobic dance class that focuses on Latin dancing. We did various salsas, merengues, and several others that I can't remember the names of. This is a brand new class for the dance studio my sister takes her daughters to. Because of that, it seemed like it was only the 1st or 2nd class for most of the people so no one really knew the moves. We were all starting out together. I'm really not coordinated and I had a hard time keeping up, but I wasn't the only one!! Everyone was stumbling to keep up. We we laughing and having a good time. I've heard that it burns a ton of calories, but according to my HRM I only burned 172. I figure I'll burn more once I get the hang of the steps.

sorry MIA, I have down with a cold from #$%%, My weight in is244.4, its a loss but I think it because I can taste nothing so it was not fun eating.. Only got in 3 hours of workout before this cold hit me. So as soon as I feel normal again I plan to go back to logging everyday, walking to car and water along with daily exercise. Congrate to all the people that loss this week and to those who are holding keep on keeping on.0 -

HEy all, sorry that I have been off here, been doing good with eating exercise and everything else, went to the doc for a physical, she drew blood and I am healthy as a horse, she even said that i had lower cholesteral (SP sorry) then her and that she was jealous, gonna have to read back to catch up on what is going on with everyone, sorry... I am back now and wont leave LOL

HEY ALL
~I think that we should try to get 30 Mins of a NEW EXERCISE in this week!( 30 mins of something that we have not done before, or atleast something that is not a regular routine for us, wether it be weights, lifts,push ups) if it is something strenuous like push ups the count the mins and space it out through the week so taht it ='30 mins at the end of the week!
~Replace a not so healthy food or drink with a healthy one this week
~And Have a personal goal of mins you WILL exercise this weeK:)
AND POST a JAN picture!

Ok I lost 2 pounds, 200 when I weighed in this morning. I saw the doctor today and he really wanted to put me on meds for my diabeties, we had a long talk and he is giving me another 4 months. My sugar count was really bad and chol. He upped some of my other meds and gave me the swine flu shot.
I am so happy that he gave me more time. I am getting so motivated.

I love most everything. do you bake, grill? YUM! I think shrimp is my fav, then cod. Yippy on the wt loss!

1. Exercise, I will add 3 days of free wts, 10 min each.
2. my new "minutes" exercise goal for the week is 330 minutes.
3. food ~ On my daily salad I will make my own EVOO dressing. ( no more Wish Bone, Kraft, Ranch, French )
4. the dreaded picture....UGH. ok, you asked....

thanks for sending the websites regarding nutritional values. There's a cranberry casserole I wanted to make but didn't b/c I didn't know the nutritional value. This casserole is apples, cranberries, walnuts, oatmeal, sugar.
I was successful in walking lunch time, walking end of day and curves. Granted I walked instead of jogged at end of day. And Curves was very low on calories burned -- only 399. However......
Megan... I certainly hope your pain goes away soon... there's nothing worse than pain...
I'm working this weekend.... yuck and it's supposed to be very cold here.

~Goals today:
~head for the gym for an hour COMPLETED!!!!! With a 30 min 3.5/5.5 WALK/RUN!!!!! Loved it and Stayed on the elip after that for the next 30 doing incline routines

Had a wonderful workout today, husband met me there and had fun working out next to eachother, then he came home early today !!! which was great Picked up the kiddos, he then bought me a LOVESEAT!!!! i thought that we were just going to look at couches because i wanted to get a new one in a few months or so, but he bought me the loveseat now and we are gonna wait on getting the couch!!! i am in love with it!!!!
Then made an easy dinner of egg white frittatta with new potatoes, yellow bell pepper, onion, spinach, and squash!!!! LOVED it

hey team....been thinkin bout you guys all day.....I left this am @ 5:15, and returned @ 8:30 pm....I'm tired :yawn: , bleacher butt and back for sure. can't wait for a good *stretch* workout tomorrow! very cold here this am, -22*. but, again we were blessed with blue skies and beautiful sunshine, and well, lots of snow on the ground! I took all my food with me today, packed it all lastnite, and didn't log it until I got home, and I was right on the calories! I am gettin so good I amaze myself!
Miss Vita ~ I am soooo lovin your enthusiasm goin on here! MmmmmYES! you're keeping me going, staying with it! how cool, a new loveseat and couch soon! that will be so nice! Don't you just love walk/jog workouts? Yippy!
Barb ~ I was gone today too, dh had to work, oldest son is spending his last free weekend w/buddies and youngest son dog-watched, then left for ball games. busy day for my family, unusual we ALL had something goin on. hope your Sunday work is a good - day - work! On behalf of everyone - thanks for doing the charts....
I noticed the post I did on 1/8/10 published -- obviously it didn't....
165.5 on Friday 1/8/10 -- this is my home scale (one of those big scales seen in doctor's offices).
For us, I use the Curves scale but the scale wasn't available Friday morning at 6:45am.
We may see a different weight next week since it's a different scale.
Since last Monday, I've been successful in making calorie count... so let's hope this week I see a nice difference.

APPLE-CRANBERRY CASSEROLE
2 cups cranberries (fresh or frozen)
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 cups apples (any variety) chopped & diced
1 cup oatmeal
1/3 cup flour
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup walnuts, chopped
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a bowl, mix cranberries, sugar, and apple.
Coat 2 quart casserole dish with non stick cooking spray. Pour fruit/sugar mixture into casserole dish.
In seperate bowl, mix oatmeal, flour, brown sugar, walnuts and butter. Pour over fruit mixture.
Bake 1 hour
Serve - hot or cold.

Well its Monday and I am back to work. I wish I can stay I feel 100% better but I be lying. Well so I am gonna try to get back on track here.

hope you all enjoyed the weekend and are ready to work hard this week at gettin the extra lbs off. I had a very bad food day yesterday, and after I logged everything, it was like 2 days worth of calories! UGH! felt gross too. back to clean as of breakfast and will be working out longer today, more towards an hour or so. actually, want to do that for the entire week.
my parent's just had an elderly lady move to a nursing home, from one of their rental's, so they are in the process of cleaning, painting, etc this house to put on the market this Spring. I will be helping them soon. It is only a 4 room home, so hopefully it won't take very long. I have a bus trip tomorrow afternoon and then again this Saturday. And, we are warming up here!! 20's and 30's!! Lots of melting here! my oldest son will be 20 tomorrow.....:frown: he has to work, so not sure when we will be celebrating...but, we all will prob meet my dh after work some nite for supper in the city. Hard to believe it is almost the middle of Jan!!

Ok so my saturday was not as great as I though it would be:grumble: I had made a ton of tamales and wasnt gonna eat any because i used pork in them......well I cooked it so i had to try them out. now I made rice and beans for the party too and there was chips and dips and beer and ect......
Well I drank more then i wanted to and I ate more then I wanted to:grumble:
But hey today is a new day and I am starting over :smooched:

Got a treadmill this weekend off of our freecycle.org it is older but it is eletric and WORKS! yay so it is set up in the garage waiting to be abused LOL

~Going to the gym to work on arms and back today

~Going to get my water in plus some

Ugh! I had a really bad, TOM related weekend. I ate everything I could get my hands on. No exercise, either!! Just gotta work hard through the week to combat the weekend.
This week’s goals
1. Exercise goals – Monday & Wednesday C25K and Tuesday & Thursday Biggest Loser Yoga (new!!). I will also be doing my normal morning Yoga. Total minutes – 275 (not sure that I’ll be able to find the extra 25 minutes this week to make it to 300 since I was lazy all weekend).
2. Food goals – I’m removing the salt shaker from the table. DH never uses it and I need to stop.0 -
Just checking in before I get all sweaty....My labs came back and I am so happy! The last time they were checked was 4 mos ago, and I can't believe the improvements! My chol was the same, near 177, (I'd still like it lower) Trig, same 90, and my *good* chol (HDL) went from 45 to 70! I raised it 25 pts!! They want it higher than 40, and the higher the better!! and my *bad* chol (LDL) went DOWN!! from 113 to 90, and my goal for that is 90. I am so excited!! Yes, I *am* medicated, Simvistsatin 40 mg/daily, and I have been eating Flaxseed with my cereal and taking a Fish Oil every day! I hope to increase my diet with real fish, like Miss Vita, and maybe if I lose more wt and keep exercising, I can get off the meds! Not gonna give up!!
Erica & Crystal ~ sounds like we all shared food issues over the weekend....dang it. but it's behind us now, so let's move on and have a great week! Miss V, lovin' that you got a treadmill, you'll be running all the time now! I feel um, eh, 'sexier' too since losing wt :blushing: not gonna complain there! Crystal, great for you in ditching the salt shaker. It will help you tremendously!! I have not used a shaker with meals or cooking for many, many yrs now. When I eat something salty now, it kinda chokes me up a little. blech!
