    Count me in! This is my first time and it looks like 50 is the magic number.

    Also would love to add some 40+ friends for mutual motivation through the challenge!

    I am in again! I need to bump it up this month though from 60 to 70. I know that's not a lot, but it's something. I need to step it up.

  • September was my first MY@ Challenge. Clearly, challenging myself worked as I was able to blow past my original goal of 40 miles, reaching 68.53m as of this evening! I did count all forms of exercise from walking to hiking, running, and riding the stationary bike. Given this torrid pace (for me) in this first month I'll be happy to match this effort in October so I'm shooting for 70 miles this second time.

    First time doing this. I've seen it a lot, but never tried it. I'm going to shoot for 50, mostly walking.

    My goal for October is 120 miles.

    September proved to be a challenge for me, there were times when I was completely stressed out about trying to reach my goal of 160 miles. I believe that for October it would be in my best interest to lower my goal to a point that will still be a challenge, but not an added stress in my life.

    Remember to post DISTANCE moved so far. Keep in mind that the challenge is about miles, NOT minutes, NOT calories, NOT pounds lost, just distance moved. FYI the average monthly distance covered by each @ss-mover is 61 miles.

    I'm in too - MYAC - what a great idea.

    Put me down for 30 as my first time - following in Been2Bostons footsteps i figure a mile a day is a sensible place to start. Now all i need to do is remember to track it, & find out how you get one of those lovely tickers :-)
