Remember to post DISTANCE moved so far. Keep in mind that the challenge is about miles, NOT minutes, NOT calories, NOT pounds lost, just distance moved. FYI the average monthly distance covered by each @ss-mover is 61 miles.
What a huge undertaking. Thanks for doing this!
I started my month off right with a brisk 2.55 mile walk. On my way to 70 miles or more of @ss moving in October!

How do I add my miles ticker to my page?? I made one at tickerfactory.com ... and here's what it gave me to cut and paste... <a href="http://www.TickerFactory.com/exercise/wweStiR/">

But I don't know where to put it here in MFP to have it show up on my page or in my posts.... and also from tickerfactory I clicked on the part to post it to my facebook, but all it did was take me to my facebook page... didn't add a ticker anywhere... booo :-(
Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I'm going to go do a few miles on the elliptical now, hope I can figure out how to put that info on a ticker when I get back...0 -

I normally don't do this, but I need to PUSH myself, so I'm posting that I will do 3 miles tonight on the elliptical! This way my guilt will get my butt on that stupid machine, as opposed to staying on the sofa
Tomorrow is my day off from work, and I spin first thing in the morning, so i will let you all know if it worked for me when I come on to post my spin miles.

I have never done this challenge, but I need something (or someone) to kick my butt this month. I did 4 1/2 miles today on the elliptical. 6 days per week/4 miles per day=24 per week. Think I will make 100 miles my goal!0

I'm in, this will be my 1st one! Going for 50.0

I don't run, but I do bike every morning and walk in the afternoon. I'm setting the following goals for myself for October:
200 miles biking (right now I'm biking 6 miles per day x 31 = 186 so that's just 14 more miles a month)
40 miles walking (right now I'm walking 30 minutes at 2.5 miles an hour x 31 = 38.75 miles)
It's not a huge increase, but it will keep me accountable! Let's go!!!0 -
Just throwing up my ticker....I kicked my month off in a big way this morning by biking 15 and running 1 1/2 miles!

Well, y'all are makin' me feel like a goal slacker, but I'm going to join anyway. I have health/physical issues. But lets focus on what I can do!
My goal is to walk at whatever pace is possible 45 miles this month; 1.5/day average. I am also going to lose 10lbs...but that's another thread. LOL0 -

I just did 6.9mi on the elliptical... now I'm going to try to add a ticker to this comment to see if I can make it work... wish me luck :-)
