    Tell him your situation. Teens are pretty compassionate.

    My nephew is the same(he's 16.) And since he's a track athlete he thinks he doesn't have to do anything around his house, but my sister threatens him with "if you don't do your share then no phone for you." And that seems to work.

    Cut off his allowance. He's 15 and able to work.
    I am going crazy.. He is almost 15 and everywhere he walks leaves a mess behind him... I have ALWAYS gotten on his case and gave him chores and payed allowance and made him clean up so it is not something new but it is driving me nuts and I am under enough stress... What can I do to make him at least clean up after himself.....

    It's too far gone. 15 years old is too late to teach an old dog a new trick - especially of the male species. 3 more years and it will be all over. Just count the days left.
