Wouldn't this be more appropriate in the Chit Chat section? I can't see how a grammar lesson will provide "General Diet and Weight Loss Help".0

Think this is a bit of a shocking post in my opinion - have have shocking spelling and try my hardest to get it right I also have family members with several levels of dyslexia (don't know why that word is so hard to spell lol) and in my opinion if you can understand what someone is referring to then whats the problem - do you correct someones pronunciation everytime they speak? lol
Some ppl are so petty
(please note I did read this over several times before posting and no doubt have bits wrong)0 -
This is the grammar police. The words "loose" and "lose" are not the same. The word LOOSE means "not tightly fixed in place." It is an adjective. The word LOSE means "ceased to have or retain." It is a verb.
If you are talking about how you have decreased your reading on the scale, use the word LOSE (or lost.)
If you are talking about how your clothes fit, use LOOSE.
Thank you for your attention.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Though I did get a bit worried when I saw the topic heading!0 -
Bhaaahahahahahahahah! What drives me crazy is people that feel the need to correct other people's grammar. Who gives a rat's *kitten*?
Yeah, I agree. It makes me loose my mind.0 -
*brings an apple to the teacher...." yes ma'am, im soowweee "0

Eh, it drives me a little up the wall, but some people have legitimate issues that make them unable to spell correctly, so I just assume that everyone who makes that typo has such a problem.
Eh, I just assume their typing is as poor as mine. :ohwell:0 -
When I lose weight, my pants get loose.
My pet peeve too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why on earth would you ever freaking care?0 -
Best EVER!0 -

LOL LOL LOL LOL! Me too. Nothing, and I mean nothing, makes me madder than people correcting spelling/grammar/pronunciation etc. when there is zero need. I always say unless the correction really makes a difference, leave it alone. You are just making people feel stupid and like they don't measure up. People that do that are bullies in my opinion. Now if the correction is needed, say someone is giving driving directions and you know they have a wrong street, sure correct them. Otherwise leave them the hell alone people!0 -
Who really cares, really? Do I notice when people use the wrong form of words? Yes. Do I get my panties in a bunch? No! There are more stupid people in the world than non stupid people, accept it and live with it!0

Your kidding, right?0 -
While we are at it:
Their, there and they're are not interchangeable.
Your and you're also do not mean the same thing.
Two, to and too, well maybe now I'm nitpicking.
Jest and gist are two different words.
U is a letter, not a word.
2 isn't even a letter, why are you using it to replace a word?
... <-- That is an ellipse. This is not..............................
Nor is this..
If you grossly misspell something, a red squiggly line appears under the word. Right click on it, and pick a correct option.
If you need a laugh after the rant, please watch this link. It's not safe for work.

As we speak.................................hee hee0 -
I think some people need to realise that there is a lot of people with spelling difficulty s i.e. special needs and dyslexia, also people from a poorer class background are not as educated as others so some people have a problem and find it very frustrating trying to spell, most people might say its common sense but I think it's nasty the way people can bully other people and be nasty because they don't right 100% . Picking on someone's intelligence is just like me picking on your weight so think about it the next time you feel the need to be nasty it's not nice getting bullied!!!! Also there's most prob a million spelling mistakes in there but IM NOT ASSED  :drinker:0

Sorry, but you're WRONG. It is LOOSE. Way to confuse everyone.1
