    Morning all!

Yesterday was a good day! I ate great! Took care of a sweet craving with 2 reduced fat graham cracker sheets and four tbsp Cool whip free...yummy and low cal! I also ran for 1/2 hour on our treadmill! Works pretty good but it quite loud! But I burned quite a few calories (gotta love the HRM) and felt wonderful afterwards! Made a yummy chicken and stuffing recipe in the crockpot and fed Kadence some rice cereal for the first time! She was SO funny! But loved it! We video taped it and took TONS of pictures! What a munchkin! Can't believe she's starting foods! Then I got her to bed and enjoyed Greys Anatomy and Private Practice while curled on the couch! It was a GREAT day!

Today I'm hoping is good again! We have oil changes scheduled for both our vehicles this evening, and then I'm hoping to get in a run! Planning on making turkey tacos this evening...YUM! I'm glad it's Friday! Ready for a weekend!

Have a great morning gals and I'll check back later!

My unofficial weigh-in this morning was 226.6 -- down .8 from yesterday and only 1.6 lbs from a 20 lb loss! That is exactly the kind of motivation that keeps me from eating unhealthy foods. I have been loading up on fruits and veggies, and a few times when I was about to make a bad food decision, I have thought "Do not eat what you're about to eat and you will have an awesome loss this week." Tonight we're going out to get steaks. I try to listen to my body for my nutritional needs, and I guess I'm not giving it enough protein since all day yesterday my brain was screaming for some red meat. Maybe I can get my fiance on board with not ordering bread for the table, or just getting one piece so there will be nothing left for me. Social situations and restaurants are something I have to work hard to tell myself it is NOT an excuse to go crazy. It's a meal to feed my body, just like at home.

Ali - GREAT JOB! You are so close, I know you can do it!

My hubby wants to do a 5K so I have been trying running on the treadmill. I figured out that at a level of 6.4 that I can run a 5K in 29:08. So I decided to work up to it in increments. Today, I was up to 21 minutes of straight running. That is a miracle for me. Those last 5 minutes were killer. But amazingly enough, since I started running a couple of weeks ago, I finally started to lose weight. I stepped on the scale this morning just out of curiosity because my pants were a little looser and saw 137.4 (of course, that was after the gym, which is always lower), but I haven't seen that number since the day I got married almost 4 years ago. I basically have been doing the Couch to 5K and it works. I'm a happy person today. Now not to blow it with "Date Night" tonight. Margarita, get behind me...

If I don't get to get on during the weekend, have a great one everyone. Keep doing awesome.

kistinbee - THATS SOOO CUTE!!! I love that when you hand an infant his or her first food, and they kind of look at you for a minute and then grab a fist fool and try n suck on their hands! You and your husband must be SOOO excited! And I am watching last nights greys and private right now! I love those shows!

Ali- AWESOME JOB on resisting food! that is amazing! Congrats!

Lulabelle- STICK WITH IT! That would be an amazing bonding experience for your husband and you to run a 5k together! I love the couch to 5k program, do you use any particular program on your Ipod?

SO i am officially sick.. and it is TERRIBLE! I can hardly breath my chest is sooo congested... Fun news though, I am so madly in love with my man! haha, yesterday he sent me a picture of some rings in a jewelry store, just to tell me that he wants that some day in the future. How sweet is he? On another not I REALLY need to get back into gear, I dont think I have gained any weight, and if so It was only a pound or two, but I miss working out! I just feel so overwhelmed what with this being my first week home from florida, the first week of classes (Im taking 18 credits!), I am trying to see everyone I missed over the holidays, and trying to restore my sleep schedule, plus I am back to babysitting at least 3 nights a week...

I need to get back to working out, I just dont know when I will have time, Unless I start getting up earlier then 7, or staying up later then 1:30...

    Hello Ladies!

Sounds like so many of you are on track and heading torwards great things! Yahoo!

I am one step closer to being employed again. I have been a SAHM for the last 3 1/2 yrs. I dont really want to give it up but the finances are such that we need me to work. So another baby is on hold and I am going to work at least 20 hours per week. Full medical, dental and vision benefits for low cost. I will be working for an HMO. Kaiser Permanente. Good news , it is 3 blocks from my house so I can walk there.

Well, my eating is really for the most part on track but I am not getting enough exercise.

I need to just think Vegas, Vegas, Vegas! 10 weeks.....

Okie Dokie Ladies It's time for the shred report....Day 9 level 1 complete. This mean one more day at level 1 then on to level 2. I have now worked out 12 days without a day off. I refuse to have a day off until my 30 days are complete.....I sure hope I make it. I viewed the level 2 today its going to be tough but I know I can do it. I stacked another cord of wood today. And tomarrow I will be working for my old boss. He has asked both Tony and I to work for him. We will be dragging brush not sure how far but he said there's a lot of it. I figure it will be oak tree limbs and more than likely up hill to his trailer. I am not to worried about it cuz it will pay well. Espeacially since we may get rain starting tomarrow night daily until the 24th or longer according to the internet. And of course good exercise. Well have a great night.

Unofficial weigh in this morning was back to 227.2 (up the .8 lbs I lost yesterday) but my steak was SO worth it. As a former vegetarian (for 6 years!), I think it's pretty funny how much I enjoy steak now. I'm sure the gain is mostly from eating heavy food and the higher sodium in restaurant food. I even planned my calories to get my side salad with cheese and ranch dressing. It was almost like a night off, except it fit into my daily calories.

The weather is nice again today, so my big hope is that it will be warm enough this afternoon for me to take a nice long outdoor walk. That would make the day pretty much perfect.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend so far.

Shred report Day 10 level one and tomarrow I start level 2. I just hope I can move. The brush dragging I did today was much more than I expected. I did it 6 hours straight with 1 10 minute break. OMG I thought I was going to die. I wasn't going to do my workout but I would be letting myself down so I did it. Now that it is done I feel so much better about myself. I am not even going to worry about my calorie intake today due to the fact I burned over 1675 calories just at work let alone my workout. I will check in tomarrow need to go catch up on the football playoffs.

    Love ya all

Hey ladies!! Updated my weight the other day with the new iPhone app for myfitnesspal. If you ladies have an iPhone, you should get it!! It is so easy to add to your food diary when you're out and about. But I am under my goal weight for this challenge as of now and I way the least I have since my Junior year of college which is almost 4 years ago now!!

Cathy - yep, just one more semester and I am all done with school!!!

Tiff - Thanks!! I am glad to be back!!

Well ladies, I think I have a new motivation for slimming down!! As I may have told all of you before, one of my college friends is in the Peace Corps in Bulgaria. Two of my other college friends are taking a trip to visit her in May and will be meeting her in Greece for 8 days. Since they are going shortly after my graduation and before I would have to start work (when I get a job) I am 99% sure that I am going with them!!!!! So 8 days in Athens and taking the ferry to the Greek Isles so that means swimsuits and sundresses so I have GOT to get in to tip top bikini shape now!!!

As for the job aspect, I had an interview over break and should hear back on that one next week. If that doesn't turn out, then i have a few more applications to fill out for fellowships and then i will start looking for permanent jobs if I am unable to secure a fellowship.

Just thought I'd send an update!! Epic failure tonight though as i just finished a pint of Ben and Jerry's Cake Batter ice cream. my weakness!!!

Hope you all are having a good weekend!

    haven't caught up on posts.

just wanted to pat self on back MIL came over and wanted to take us to breakfast. it's 9:30 i just got back from gym i ate at 7. so it's getting lunch time. DH tells her and she says good than i don't have to feed her. what ever. that's her she doesn't think before she speaks. so DH says cathy has to shower and that. so will be awhile. so i we get there little closer to lunch time. we go to perkins i get the low calories chicken omelet with one toast and a bowl of fruit. so good and only 420 cals. i believe about 35 carbs. i did it and it was good and didn't hurt at all LOL

    gotta run out again.

Unofficial weigh-in this morning was 226.2 - only 1.2 lbs from 20 lbs lost. I didn't get to take a walk yesterday, but I did a lot of walking around when we went out. I still want to go for a walk today, but it's been drizzling since I got up, so I haven't been feeling like bundling up and getting the dogs soaking wet. I just had a super fancy lunch at home though. I made a tortilla pizza with spaghetti sauce, shredded italian cheese, a few slices of prosciutto cut up, and a blue cheese stuffed green olive. Mmm. Dinner tonight is going to be baked eggplant parmesan. I'm on an italian kick.

Cathy - they are called "mother-in-laws" for a reason ;) Great job though on spreading out the time and eating healthy. Great example.

B - Sorry to hear you are feeling sick. I hope today is better for you.

Ali - You are doing so awesome. I've been a vegetarian for 2.5 years, but only because after the removal of my gallbladder, my body doesn't process it. But boy do I miss steak and will take a bite of my hubby's when he gets a good quality one and savor it. I use the A-1 sauce on a baked potato just for the flavor.

Had a crappy food night last night and feeling it big time this morning. Drinking lots of water to try and flush things out for the weigh in tomorrow (wednesday for me). Definitely going to get to the gym this morning and see if I can sweat some of it off.

Hope you all had a great weekend. I'll check in on you later.

    Morning ladies! Quick check in...

Kadence has mastered rolling over...which is fun, but a pain...rolls over then gets mad cause she can't do anything! Is now doing this at night too so we are constantly running into her room to flip her back over...UGH! But she's so adorable and is totally showing off, so we can't be mad!

I had a good weekend. Ran on the treadmill Friday and Saturday, took yesterday off. Ate well all weekend except last night...had pizza that my husband ordered, but only went over my calories by a couple hundred. Just drinking plenty of water today and planning on getting a good workout in this evening.

Hope you are all well! Have a great morning and I'll check back later!

Shred Report Day 2 level 2 = 12 days I am having a time with this level. I know it will be easier as the days go by.

Thanks Cathy for the support this morning.:flowerforyou:

Well Girls, Tony and I set our wedding date. It's going to be on 9-10-11! I know its quite aways a way but we all know how time flies. My truck will be paid off later this year and we will be able to put the payment money towards the wedding. Most of all toward the Honeymoon. We want to go to Matzalan Mexico for at least 10 days or so. My daughter is going to be my Maid of Honor. She is so excited and has already started working on a engagement party for us. Our theme for our wedding will be a mexican fiesta. It will be so much fun and casual too. My landlord owns a house he rents out for weddings and special gatherings. It is a beautiful park like setting with palm trees and a huge waterfall with a mote around a heart shapped island. I just love it there. It also has all the ammentities for cooking etc. The house even has a place for the bride and groom to stay the night of the wedding. He is going to give us the use of the "mystic Inn" for a wedding gift. Talk about saving money! This will help us out a bunch.

Sorry for rambling on but I guess I am getting excited too!

    Kel:heart:

P.S. B I sure hope you feel better soon. Hang in there.:flowerforyou:

I think most people liked the name Sixers Valentine Vixens.

Kel: That sounds AWESOME! That really will be a dream wedding. It's good to give yourself lots of time to plan. Then hopefully you can have everything worked out and really sit back and relax and enjoy your wedding day.

I went 26 calories over today. Normally I wouldn't care, but I really want to be back down to 225.5 (or lower!) tomorrow morning. I'll keep being patient though. If it happens, yay. If it doesn't, that's what the next challenge is for. :-)

ali - keep doing what you are doing, because it's awesome.

    gonabfit - always an inspiration

b - sorry you are still sick. How long do you wait before going to the doctor?

Redneckwoman - CONGRATS. For my second wedding, we went to a JP in April with kids and close family and then in June had our reception with the whole wedding dress and suits and had a blast because it was so relaxing. Sounds like you have the right idea.

This week, I'm already tanking. Letting my TOM and crankiness get the better of me. Did not get to the gym yesterday, but will today as I am getting my gym clothes on when I take the kids to school, and then heading straight there and not to bed (which I did yesterday). Lots of bloating from lots of junk food the past two days. Need to look forward. Why oh why do i do this to myself? Fortunately, only once a month :)

    Have a wonderful day!

I was up a total of .3 this week, but to come out of the holidays with only .3 lbs left to lose is so amazing for me. I'm just happy I didn't go off track for a couple of weeks, and then give up totally.
