from personal experience:
- if you have boob chafe, you need a smaller bra (probably in the cups)
- for your first race, don't put yourself in the walking category, it is safer to be the slowest of the run pack than to trip over a walker.0 -
As it gets cooler out - remember to "dress for the middle of the run," you'll warm up once you crack a sweat a couple miles in.0

As a general rule of thumb, people who offer running advice using absolutes usually know much less than those who offer recommendations for someone to try. The wise understand that people are vastly different and we are all an experiment of one.
Very true.
If you took all of the advice in this great thread, you would probably end up broke, crippled and on an episode of hoarders.

I am just starting to learn to "jog". Can now do a minute!
"Joggers" are runners with inferiority complexes. If you can go faster than a walk, you are a runner. Now go work on being a better runner!
