Get strong and lean, and if he gives you any lip, give him a fresh backhand!

Seriously, if your man doesn't love you for you, you are likely with the wrong man. You should never be unhappy with your partner for striving to be healthy, especially when you are bringing a child into the world. At this point, be healthy & lean for your baby, so that you can be around for a long time to guide, raise, and care for the little crib midget!

In this situation, I am glad I'm single. I would like to be with someone who likes the way I look and respects the hardwork it took to get there. That being said - you should talk to him, find out what he thinks "skinny" is, and see where they align with your health and fitness goals. IMO, if he cares about you, then it won't matter what weight you fall at. But honestly, I would prioritize your health over his wants and needs at this point. They are more important.

    *Caution tough love*

To me, it sounds like you've come up with an excuse for not sticking to your diet.

You've got diabetes? You need to be thinking about whether or not you want to keep your toes and eyesight. I have worked in health care and it's no joke.

Did your husband tell you he'll divorce you if you lose weight? Cmon. Unless he's a total jerk, he'll be more worried about your health than how much there is to 'grab'.

Losing weight is hard work. 50 pounds won't just disappear overnight.

Thank yall all for so much advice. I didn't think I would get this much feed back. My husband just wants me to be happy and he says he will love me no matter what. He knows how important it is...I'm starting to think that I'm finding every excuse in the book to not lose weight. I know I got to but without help from people who know what is going on its hard.

    Thanks again yall! :)
