Good job, esp. like the "it can be done without a gym", as not everyone can afford a membership, $ 70.00 a month where I live.

Thanks so much for that. Yes MFP told me 1200 so I stuck to it. I did try other sites and they gave me higher calorie targets - but I said to my self "eat less, lose weight faster" and went with the 1200 target. Also, although I stick to the 1200 calorie target, I guess I need to figure out - how much of protiens, carbs and fats - that does make a difference? At this point, I'm like..."what if I eat more than 1200 calories and put on weight rather than lose" - I guess I just need to trust the experts and go for it....
I try to stick to this formula.... carb intake = protein intake + fat intake. for example, if I have 100g carbohydrates, ideally i'd have 40g fat and 60g protein. That's worked well for me; I never feel hungry and I lost most of my weight eating 1200 calories. I'm no expert but it worked for me! lol0 -
