    I was wondering if any of you have used quinoa, and would care to share what you put in it?
    Would you believe since I lost a Scrabble tournament, last letter was a q, I have not been able to eat anything beginning with Q?

    You have not heard of it? It's a grainlike seed, used in place of rice, or pasta.

    I have found a few topics on it, but thought I would find out from you guys what your experiance is with it.

    From what I understand, it is. Did you know I've been too chicken to try it? One of my resolutions for 2013 (if you want to call it that) is to be more willing to try new things.

    I think that is a wonderful resolution :) It doesn't sound s bad, have you seen it for sale anywhere? If I can find it I will try it as well, then we can be strong together! :happy: Is it available at a regular grocery store?

    I haven't cooked with quinoa, but it is a good source of protein and a great replacement for pasta, as you mentioned... my friend swears by it so you'd think I would have at least tried it by now, right?
