Do you eat back your burned calories?

This thread just makes me sad. :grumble: How can so many people not understand how MFP works. It already creates your deficit without adding exercise in. Anything you burn through exercise is extra. It's not needed to create a larger deficit if you are following MFP generic calorie amounts.

I do all the time. -points to ticker-0 -
I eat about half of them back just so that I have enough room for error (in case the treadmill or elliptical or HRM overestimates a burn or I underestimate my food). I usually burn 400-500 calories when I work out, so I eat back 200-250 usually leaving the rest just in case. Seems to be working. That said, if you're hungry, listen to your body and give it more food!0
