Oh, they aren't over lol
I still get them about 3 times a week, they just aren't so much everyday anymore.0 -
Awesome job!! You are a true inspiration!0

I'm very impressed with your progress! It is so hard to stick to it when you have other health issues going on.

Have you heard of Isagenix Nutritional Cleansing??? we cant claim that it prevents cure or treat any diseases but several people have had decreased symptoms by doing nutritional cleanses. BTW congrats on your journey and sticking with it through the challenges you have been facing!! Your pictures look incredible!!!0

I also "only" have 24-ish lb to lose. And let me tell you, that small amount is taking me forever to get rid of! So I understand how hard it can be. Can't wait til I finally can post in success stories. Congrats!0

Thanks, it's tough!! I have 13 more to get to my goal. And then eventually I'd like to get down to 140, but I'd be just as happy at 150 but a low bf %0 -
I just saw this. you Ashley. I know it's been rocky, but you are absolutely amazing and inspiring.0

I have exercise induced urticaria. It took my doctor a long time to figure out what was wrong with me. When I work out my torso, legs and forearms swell up with hives that make my skin crawl. It goes away after about 4 hours, or if I shower right away. I ignore it and carryon, although it is unsightly if I have to be in public when it is warmer out. Most people find it pretty ironic and amusing to be allergic to exercise.:drinker: Even more ironic because if I don't workout regularly I gain weight fairly quickly...:grumble:0

I really appreciate your story - thank you so much for sharing! For some of us the loss has to come slowly, and that makes the victory even more awesome! Seriously, thank you - I really liked reading this.0

You look great and 23lbs in one year is great! I've been trying to lose that amount of weight for years and I just seem to be gaining! I break out in hives too but they don't last long and if I try to go to the doctor they're gone by the time I get there. I found that when I was eating a lot of fast food, I broke out more often so I took that out and my break outs became less. I tend to break out when it's too hot or too cold. I can never win! But anyway, congrats on your progress! You look amazing.0

Awesome job...Congrats on both your journey and 365 days of amazing commitment...0

I'm 5'7 also and you weigh as much as me but your middle looks much better than mine! Great job!0

I had chronic hives for three years!! In September I did a three day juice fast. I did NOT have any hives for 72 hours. (amazing) Since then I have learned; processed food & beef = hives. Today I ate a McDonalds cheeseburger & FF. 30 minutes later and my hands, chest and neck are covered in hives. smh...I know better:( You should be very proud of yourself, you look fantastic!!0

Thanks Cat, you've been so amazingly supportive, there are some days you really got me through0 -
Thanks everyone for your kind words. It's amazing to see how many of us get hives, they are so damn annoying. Last night I had them all over my stomach and woke myself a few times in the night from "sleep-itching" ha ha. They seem to be better this morning though.0

You are awesome!!! I hope the hives get better, and that it all gets figured out!0

These hives can totally have their own thread. I suffer from it too. Everyday. Some days it gets so bad that I take steroids and always have Epipen with me. Doctors can't figure out what's causing it.
You look amazing. Life with hives isn't easy. I get them when I workout and sweat. I still keep going.0 -
Amazing job!! I totally understand how you feel about the weight loss part it took me over a year to loose 30lbs!! But I am still happy with it and I love the weight training and how it makes me feel and look!! I am sorry about the give situation but I am proud that you did not let that stop you or get in the way of your weight loss!! I hope your hives will be under control soon :flowerforyou:0

I am so glad I saw this post. I too am 5'7 and started out at about the same weight 12 wks ago. I've been averaging about 1/2 lb per wk by slightly modifying my diet and strength training. If I keep it up (tweaking along the way as needed0 after a year I figure maybe i'd be down about 24 lbs give or take. Your story motivates me, 23 pounds sound good to me! Do I want more? Yes, but I'd rather lose 23 comfortably than 40 uncomfortably-and when i say that I speak of my own situation specifically. That is not to say that anyone losing 60 lbs in a year is uncomfortable (not at all). Anyway, Congratulations, you look fabulous! I'm so glad you posted this.0

It's so weird! It seems like such a common thing these days to get hives. I haven't taken steroids for them, I just starting taking anti-histamines on a regular basis to try to help but it's not doing much. I go see the specialist again in January. Luckily mine only get REALLY bad once every week or two, so usually I can get away with just some cold cloths or a cold shower to calm them. For a long time me and oatmeal baths were best friends.0
