You only live once!! Do it!
I love the pink-on-top blonde on bottom look!

I've got dark hair and crazy skin tone, so crazy colors would look awful on me.
i agree with this lol...... omg!!!! im soooo nervous now haha.... i think i might do it........

Definitely stands out, and the confidence behind it sells it. What drives me nuts are shy people who use those colors, it's like false advertisement, a color like that shouts attention to uniqueness but then you don't get it :-P

So rock it out but back it up with some awesome sauce, takes a lot to swim against the tide.

my advice is avoid manic panic cotton candy pink if you want more of a light pink. its naff.
  • I'm not a fan of Nicki Minaj's hair whatsoever. It would look good if you did the tips of your hair, not the whole head. Just my opinion.

    so like this almost?

NOO don't do this.... do the inverse of that ! .... do the last pink pic in your original post
thats what i was thinking also... haha.. i dont like looking like this look..... to punk rocky for me..

The inverse is better too I think :) Just not the whole head in my opinion! haha Like not Nicki Minaj :P

I don't know you, but I'd be tempted to call you Fluttershy and think you were adorable.

    THIS!!! Haha

But seriously. Go for it. If it's what YOU want that is what matters. Forget everyone else. Personally, if I saw you out in public with it I'd be staring at you going "freaking AWESOME!" I LOVE seeing people with odd colored hair, it makes my day!
  • I guess it looks cool. But not the pink lipstick eewww!

My daughter is in cosmetology school now. . . she has had every color of the rainbow, and even had multi-color rainbow hair at one point. I think it's quite fun.

Do it! it will fade very quickly with each shampoo, esp on bleached hair. i'm a haircolor specialist and i've realized these "unnatural" colors can be very attractive and pretty not just punky , depending on color choice and application. the worst thing is if you really like it is the maintaince. these colors tend to fade quickly, vivid the first week and faded badly by 3rd week. ive been wanting to use these on myself and had not because i worried about being "appropiate" for a 40yr old mom. did it last month and have gotten tons of positive feedback even from the least likely people. i was blonde and went red with purple lowlights and so glad i did. i need to post pics of new look. ived already had to retouch at 2-3weeks because of fading but so glad i felt the fear and did it anyway! pravanna vivids seems to be the longest lasting brand in the salon. besides if hair wasn't meant to be changed it wouldn't grow!!! good luck and enjoy!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE different colors...and you def could pull it off.

Totally NOT digging Lindsey or Nicki, but the third pic is cute....or like someone else posted, the tips pink or pink streaks...personally I like the darker pink or darker colors more so than that baby pink..

Pink hair is COOL, unless you're, like, eighty.
  • I wouldn't do it all pink like that. I would just have streaks coming from the bottom. That would look cute.

if you love it, and you've always wanted it, AND it won't interfere with your life (meaning, you won't get fired or passed up for a promotion, or something else), then do it now. You're young enough to be able to (not that being older should prevent you from doing things you like, but sometimes life makes it harder. and society is more judgemental), and... the best part is... it's hair. You can re-dye it if you hate it. or cut it and grow it back.

My daughter has long, dark hair (some extensions) with a streak of blue to green in the front and it looks AMAZING. she gets compliments on it all the time and it makes me want to put a streak of color in my 45 year old hair. I still might. :)
  • So, is pink the new blonde? If you and the one(s) you trust to give you an honest opinion think it looks good on you then go for it. A temporary dye might be a good idea just in case it doesn't come out the way you think it should. Also, give it a few days after you do it to get used to waking up in the morning and seeing the new you. Every woman in my life did some kind of makeover at some point and in a few cases had instant regrets until they settled in with it for awhile.

I have a big chunk of my hair purple. I love it. Realize that if you only do a piece of it, it could bleed into the rest. Special Effects color is a good brand and lasts a while. I also recommend going to a salon...easier than ending up with a pink bathroom.

It's not a cut; it's just dye. If you hate it, dye it back. Dooo iiiiiittt.
  • Go for a pastel not a neon or bright dye. Pastel looks pretty, bright only works imo with reds and purples. Make it light and girly and you'll nail it :)

And tipping the ends is for people afraid of commitment! and tends to look like grown out roots unless very artfully applied!
