Tonights dinner, Orange beef stir fry over brown rice (if the pic works out..)
recipe please! looks delicious! How many calories?
Here is a link to the recipe. The only change I made was leaving out the added sugar and adding snow peas to the mix..

Oh my. Yum.0 -
a new favorite of mine- loaded baked sweet potatoes. Got this recipe off the biggest loser site, and as I usually have prebaked chicken breast and sweet potatoes this recipe takes like two seconds in the microwave and is super filling. Its layered green salsa, red salsa, chicken breast, plain greek yogurt, all on top of two small sweet potatoes. Totals about 350 calories and 30 grams protein.
darn, this pic does not do it justice0 -
Part of my dinner tonight: Tortilla pizza with sauce made from tomato paste, baby spinach, jalapeno peppers, goat's milk cheese, roasted garlic cloves, slices of Roma tomato, and bacon bits. Topped with roasted pineapple & habanero sauce and crushed red pepper flakes.

yeah that seems low? I would have thought more like 60-80g with chicken and FFGY.
Howl_Shadowknight: I seriously like your style.0 -
Bump!
Love these threads! Especially love it when people describe their meal and give nutritional info. Great work guys :0)0 -
At lunch time I'm too busy (and lazy) to do extensive cooking so typically my meals look like snack plates.
Today's lunch was 369 calories and consisted of...
1 large boiled egg
1/2 red bell pepper
3/4 danjou pear
1 oz Trader Joe's Toscano and pepper cheese
10 reduced fat wheat thins
....and a tall glass of water.
That will keep me satisfied through the afternoon and it only took me minutes to throw together.0 -

Afternoon snack/Dinner - Pita, hummus, pico, kimchi and raw veggies

^^^ looks good. I don't understand why that is a cheat meal though?
Meag: quality.1 -
I only allow myself 1200 calories a day and between the cheese and tortilla/taco shell it kinda adds up!1
-
Spaghetti al tonno

Made individual pizzas and the crust was made with flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. That's right, real dough. Didn't taste at all like cauliflower.

Meag- Smoothie looks amazing!
Chris- Amazing eats, as always. You remind me why oats are the best.
Howl- Kumara chips look phenomenal; I love anything burnt.
Some recent eats:
Boring but attractive salad
Delicious and incredibly attractive strawberry protein fluff
Improv orange marmalade cookies; all eaten in one sitting with a nice glass of almond milk.
Sushiburrito because I don't have a knife sharp enough to cut it without tearing it... still tasty.
Home-made mac and cheese, most of which I ate before thinking to take a picture. Nom.

IDK how to post pics here but @ www.msnaturallyrandom.blogspot.com check out my "What's For Dinner?" posts. I have pictures there. I made this blog before I joined MFP (didn't realize a blog feature was even on the website until recently)...
Looks yum! »

Super easy and delicious! I guess you could just toss in whatever you have on hand, or whatever filling you like in sushi. I threw in a bunch of veggies and fish with some salt, rice vinegar and sugar. I have a whole bag of nori, so I have a feeling there will be a lot of experimentation with these!0 -
Sirloin tip roast(organic grass fed beef), organic baby asparagus, and cheddar mashed potatoes.

Totally intentional - gives it that extra bit of flavor.
Salmon sushi and a crapton of wasabi sauce. Eaten at my Nan's place. Omnom.
Baked potatoes and goat steaks smothered in goat feta gravy, because I felt ironic.
Still got two desserts I haven't eaten yet, but meh, wanted to post now anyways.0 -
Giggity , I nearly reported your post for extreme torture.

I have been known to accept bribes. Part of the reason I cannot run for public office =P There was also that thing in Mexico......but we''l leave it at bribery.0 -
Zuppa Toscana 274 Cal per serving. I normally make it a little "lighter" than this, but the rest is going to DD's school tomorrow for the teacher's in-service lunch. So I made it extra yummy
