If this wasn't at a restaurant, can you post the recipe please?travelling_lots wrote: »Oh yes please, post the receipe. It looks amazing
Sorry, not homemade! Got this creation at a local chocolate maker who also makes very creative sundaes. If you're ever in Vancouver, BC, you should check out Beta5!

Cherry dumplings with chocolate sweet potato ice cream, cherry drizzle and chocolate quinoa puffs. Potato and meat dumplings with beet basil sunflower seed pesto. Had some people over yesterday for a non-barbecue (a barbecue is too much hassle!). Did a cold spread and made a matcha green tea and cherry ice cream roll (350 cals a slice). Delish!

Looks great. What are the salads and dips? I need ideas for party food that will hold up a few hours on the buffet.0 -

I did some crudités with hummus, really good tomatoes just with salt, olive oil, basil and buffalo mozzarella; Potato salad with vinaigrette instead of mayo and lots of dill, parsley, chopped gherkins, chopped red onion and capers; and guacamole. I also brought some chargrilled mixed veg and artichokes. Good luck with your event!

From Thanksgiving until Easter, this is what I basically ate every day (plus 100 calories of dark chocolate and 195 calories of italian dressing, not shown). The glasses represent the water I drank. ~1400 calories total (+ any exercise cals). Lost 28 pounds.
It's not so glamorous, but it worked then and does a great job of "correcting" when I go a little overboard.

I bought this at a takeaway stall near the office, but would reproduce it by marinating chunks of sushi grade salmon in soy and sesame oil. This was served on a bed of shredded cabbage (no dressing). Toppings were mango marinated in lime juice, wakame salad (get it in the deep freeze section of an Asian supermarket, Japan section), shelled edamame (available in the same section of the Asian supermarket), chopped green onion, toasted sesame seeds, deep fried shallots (sold ready made in jars at the Asian supermarket, SE Asia section).

Corn, broccoli, balsamic Veggie kabobs, grilled chicken with Frank’s and mayo on the side. I really could eat this every day and be happy😊
