You can find these all over for $3.99 a box. Highly recommend. I stock up when on sale and freeze them. They really do rival the meat pepperoni, have great texture and excellent flavour.

Is it actually a sauce(that you make)...or just Soya sauce from the bottle on top?

I post so many recipes that I forget if I posted this or not.

    Get:
12 eggs and do them soft boiled.
I do mine perfect in Instantpot every time at 3min HP and QR.
    Peel.

    Sauce.
1 TBSP Chinese five spice powder (optional not required)
    4 cups water
    1/2 TBSP sugar
3/4 cup soy sauce of choice (I use low sodium)
    1 TBSP rice vinegar

    Make.
Place all sauce ingredients into a pot and bring to a boil. Simmer for few minutes and take off heat.
Add the peeled eggs into the sauce and place into the fridge for at least over night. The longer they sit the more flavour they absorb.
I like to leave my for 24 hours and then drain the sauce.

My mom used to make this. Whenever she was braising a stew she would throw some whole eggs in to cook in the broth.
