One year....100lbs gone!

I was going to wait until I hit my UGW before doing a success topic, but a few of my friends wanted me to go ahead. I've always been bigger, but my weight really started rising after tearing my ACL during one of my softball games. My activity level decreased and my eating habits became worse.

I started in December 2011 at 310 lbs and was doing great until May of this year when I lost focus. No excuses just let other things come before my weightloss. In August, I found out I had tumors on both ovaries. Thankfully they benign but are still very painful at times. I was told that it would be better for me to drop down to 180 before surgery. So that day I refocused. It wasn't about just trying to get fit and healthy, it was time to save my life.

In August, I was 259 lbs and now as of December 15 I am 210 lbs. In the beginning, I was mainly doing cardiograph but since October I've been lifting heavy with a little bit of cardio and have noticed much more progress. I LOVE lifting much more than I thought I would.

I still have between 50 and 60 lbs to go and btw I'm 5'7.. ;)
