Oh and I had a melt down last night. I'm turning 35 this year and realized that is half of 70.

I will be 32 on friday but told hubs that I am going to be 29 again. I don't want to be in my 30's!!!

Okay, which one of you 40-something's would kindly hold Sam while I hit her?

  • Hello everyone. I am back and in full swing again. I'm not sure what happened to me the few weeks that I decided to be a slacker but that woman is gone now and I am back. I weighed last on Wednesday and I weighed in at 220 pounds. WOW, I really got off track. I am be serious again and recording everything I eat and sticking with my workouts no matter what. If I can't go to the Gym I will pop in a work out DVD here at home. No more excuses. I kept telling my best friend ya but life is hard right now. So, what did she do she literally threw my own words right in my face. I used to say to everyone so what lifes hard get a helmet. Well, she threw a helmet at em and told me to just get over it and yep that woke my butt up again. Thank God for best friends. :ohwell:

Morning all, I'm 36 in a couple of weeks but I will willingly hold arms if you want Marla

Welcome back jessica, hope that the helmet works for you.

I have managed to do 11 minutes on the bike so far today ( while little mindee slept), and I brought some weight lifting gloves in the supermarket this am, and they have helped as I was getting calouses (? spelling) which were hurting, and no pain today :drinker: . Aiming to do D3L2 tonight once the minded children have gone home, but will do 5 minutes on the bike first as an extra warm up.

Boy was I glad that the schools went back today, just have 2 little ones here which is quite entertaining today. Little Christopher is demanding to watch the tv - playhouse disney ( he hasn't had a look in all week with the others here  ), and he is getting quite upset as the little one that I mind is having a mini meltdown!! Will try to check in later, need to go and draft up a letter of notice that a friend needs doing

Morning team. Plans to go get in a kicking workout today. Need to make up for some lost ground from my slacker week last week. Funny, I told hubs my muscles hurt worse than when I DO workout. Don't use those muscles and they start to ache, use em and they feel pretty good. Isn't it ironic?

Later! Have a great day all!

Not this kind of helmet though, right? 000201BA.gif
That is wonderful!! My friends baby me, which in turn makes me worse!! I come here for an old fashioned azz kickin

I learned that even if I just put on headphones and dance while I clean, I keep up my exercise routine that way.

I look forward to hearing of your progress!! I know you can do this!!

Fun stuff. DH graduated from Penn State, nice school, but BIG. I went to Shippensburg. Nice small state school, close to home. I would have never survived at one of those monster sized schools. Well, I would have, but I'm not sure I would have liked it as much. Good luck!

Rob (dh) has just cooked us mussels in a white wine and garlic sauce with noodles for tea, and I am supping a glass of white wine before I crash for the night........ hope everyone had a good day , see you tomorrow xx

Good article Marla. Reminded me, I wanted to be sucking down H2O today, didn't drink much. Better get working.

Tanya- hubs cooking dinner. It must be nice. I just had a mini meltdown this weekend cause I get so sick of everybody looking at me and asking, "What's for dinner?" I don't want to be responsible for deciding what's for dinner, cooking what's for dinner and worrying about what's for dinner ALL the time. Usually it's ok, but every once in a while I would like a break from it being my job.

Richie- I wouldn't mind being all snuggled up in my PJ's right now. No can do... I have to cook dinner. :ohwell:

I have had a good day, did the gym thing, ate well, plans to eat well tonight too. I gotta say though, I am flipping starving! Luckily I didn't have the sugar shakes like I was worried about, so far, so good. Sugar withdraw can be nasty.

Hope everybody has a great evening!

Good evening my black teamer...I LOVED LOVED LOVED my family day on sat.

Sunday was a crappy day at work and so when I left work I was mad/stressed/upset...what ever you wanna call it so I came home ate 3 big ole bowls of raisin bran crunch a brownie and a charleston chew ( a big one) then I was sick...then even madder at myslef for eating all that food. I didnt eat anything and I worked 6 hours but no gym, I really didnt eat much at work today only veggies...

I got right back to the gym this morning, I was still mad at myself this morning, I felt horrible and bloated, I was miserable all day I had to take some gas x just to get some relief..

Ate my dinner did good all day today...No falling off no mad at myself any more..I did 45 minutes on elepitical and 15 minutes on weights..I did 5 miles on it and burned 500 calories...I plan on being good until next sat when I am off again...Hope fully I can do it..

All I can say I think I did great this weekend, this past weekend was the weekend my dad was suppost to spend the weekend with me..and I didnt cry at all, and I didnt eat all day everyday, just sat which was planned with my babies....and then the little meltdown I had sunday evening...So I am still in my size 8 pants, which is where I wanna be!!!

Ok I got a new book gonna go start it...Its called You on a diet from Dr.Oz...I will let you know if its any good!!!

Evening team...I had a bad day today. I had to work 11 hours and didn't even get to leave the house. I didn't get in any exercise either. I am going to the gym in the morning as soon as I take my son to school. That way I know I will have it done. It is my TOM and I have eaten enough food today to fill a bathtub. I was craving chocolate so I baked some triple chocolate cupcakes (7 grams of fat and 260 cals each even with egg beaters and applesauce). Tomorrow will be a better day. Hope you all have a good evening.
