Yup, I'm w/you---great book though, Gone Girl. but was a little perplexed at the end. read the other Gillian flynn novels too, Sharp Objects and Dark Places and both are really good....definitely worth reading.
I would recommend Tana French, an Irish author, I have read all her books, most recently Broken Harbor---but love all her stories and writing. Also just finished Richard Russo's memoir Elsewhere...really great. Am reading Cascade by Maryanne O'hara now, it's ok, not sure I'd recommend it.0 -
