01/22/13 Tues 3.5 miles walk/run on treadmill
Pulsed interval training as recommended by my RunKeeper training program: 60 second run followed by 90 second walking, then a couple 3 minute run sessions. Feeling so much more confident in my running, and can breathe better during the jog!

I have no clue how I'm going to meet my goal this month - the weather here is 21 degrees farenheit with a real feel of 9 degrees! (for those of you on celsius this is -12.7778 celsius!!!!!!!! And the forecast is like that for the rest of the week.
I don't walk fast enough in that temperature to keep from freezing...
I don't know how I can make up the rest of the 20 odd miles I need between now and the end...
Ideas?
Leslie Sansone does a whole series of indoor walking dvd's. About $10 at Walmart or the equivalent. You only need 6 or so foot long of indoor space. It's somewhat more than plain walking, but you can vary the intensity to your liking. She breaks them down into mile segments on the dvd. Hope that helps.0 -
