No one likes working toward goals anymore. Everyone wants results/success with the least amount of effort put in, regardless of how crazy it sounds.

^^^This^^^ It's all about instant gratification.

yep people are lazy these days. there was some crap on tv saying if you sprinkled this "magic sugar" on your food you will lose weight. SMH

In other words a surgical eating disorder.
EXACTLY! It's appalling that any dr. would approve this.......

The easy way to do this exact same thing? Chew it up and spit it out before swallowing.

It wouldn't be the same as vomiting. Vomiting habitually or routinely is very damaging to the esophagus. One of the biggest risks of bulimia is stomach bile eating through the esophagus, which can be deadly.

The long term risks of this stomach pump are probably just as bad as bulemia.

It probably would be because only those with eating disorders are likely to have it installed. But from the OP it sounds very similar to a g-tube. If that is true, then this method could be used safely. Many people live with a g-tube.

I've maintained a healthy weight now for 14 years. Went from plus size to a size 6. Its not that hard. I exercise daily and eat healthy. Thats it! Eat less, move more.

The fact that the lapband is a foreign object in your stomach that isn't meant to be removed is creepy enough.

Who could possibly be of sound peace and mind knowing there's a vaccuum in their stomach with the potential to malfunction at any time?!?!

This is great, I can eat and then feed my birds. I'll save a ton of $.

The possibilities are endless. Drink a bit too much? No worries, just let it out and go back for another round. Pacing yourself is now a thing of the past. I love technology.
