    November 9 ~ 145.6

My weights are with clothes on and I had been up for 4 hours. I have had my breakfast and a good bit to drink. Until I get new scales for here at home I will be using my TOPS weigh-ins.

    Great job!
I think you are right it is nice to feel accountable. I know when I have not done as well as I would like to. Such as this week. I did not do well with staying in my bounderies at all.

    I began at 280 Aug 20,
Lost 20 but have gained 2.
My current weight is now 262.

I am going to work harder at changing my diet this week. I am also increasing my excercise goals. A goal more for myself than anything is to stay away from foods that I have problems with such as dairy products. Very hard considering I love, Love ice cream.

    Have a great week

    Thanks Cheryl & cltimes2 :flowerforyou:

I'm not so sure about going out for walks due to the bitter cold but I sure will be active.. my mom is very active and will not let me sit so all good

Well Bernadette, I haven't done anything out of the ordinary.
I just try to watch what I eat and my portions and exercise when I can.
I have to admit that I have not been exercising (meaning walks, jogs or workout DVD's) b/c it's getting cold over here (Upstate NY) so all I want to do is curl up and watch tv but I do jog in place as I'm watching tv and that has helped TONS. Also jumping jacks gets you goin'.

Plus, my kids keep me pretty active:wink:

    I'm here to stay:heart:

    Thanks icandoit!
I haven't tried those. I have been eating frozen yogurt at night that is 90 calories but that might be a nice switch. Even when I splurge with the other yogurt it is about the same. It is one of the few ways I can get milk products into my diet without having a bad reaction. I appreciate you giving me the info.

Right now I am bouncing between 250 and 248 its getting a little frustrating but I know that I need to refocus.

I am 5'4", 141 pounds right now. My goal weight is 115. My mom tells me I'd be too thin if I got to that weight but I disagree. The thinist I've ever been is 131 and I still felt I could've looked better. I'd at least like to get to 125. I don't want to get to that number in an unhealthy way though. More important than the number on the scale, my goal is to get healthy and in shape and to just feel good about my body.

    Congrats!!

Thanks, denmother. Yes! It is. And the margarita and pizza became two margaritas, pizza, a coke, two donuts and a Reese's cup - and not the teensy ones! I was at my friends' house - I never buy that stuff, and she had it out. Ah - why not? I walked an extra half hour yesterday and today. And my friend asked her husband to buy her a gym membership for Christmas! She's sick of my skinny-ness, I think. Plus my obssesive narrative about all I'm up to food-wise, and exercise, and my pals here!

All in all a great day. Except Jeff Gordon (NASCAR) was beaten once and for all by Julieofthewolves's boy Jimmie Johnson. Yay, JOTW....looks like you're in the $$$$$$

OHG!!! I have been too busy to even log in for the past five days, so it looks like I missed a lot! CONGRATULATIONS JOANN!!!! I'm thrilled for you - doing a little dance here in cold and windy Minnesota.

And Congrats to you too Cheryl for making it halfway to your goal!!!!

WOW - some great stuff happening here. I'm re-energized by it, which I needed since I haven't even been able to track my food or anything. I am trying very hard to be good and stay on track. I guess this is a test for me to see how well I can do without my MFP daily fix. I am halfway to my goal too and have to get back on track.

Cheryl - Jeff had a bad week:cry: . It looks like unless Jimmy has something drastic happen he'll take it  . So sorry!

    Yay! I'm excited!
    Starting weight: 158
    Goal by T/Day: 150
    Today's weight:151
I am one pound away from my goal for Thanksgiving! I'm just excited about losing 7 pounds!
The only times it seems I have been able to lose weight is when I have been sick (thyroid or lactose intolerance) or when I've been on a diet like the South Beach diet. I am losing the weight this time with exercise and eating less and better! Whoo-hoo! I'm excited!
Keep up the hard work everyone!

    RE: Nascar:

JOTW - thanks for the sympathy. These are the 43 best stock car racers in the world. Someone has to be second :ohwell:

Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon are both class acts. It's all good. Wait till next year!! Game ON. Now you're hooked, right?

Cheryl - totally hooked! With one race to go I am still in first place with my entire pool of 8 drivers. So if I can hold onto first place I win $1,880 - yeah me! The second place person is only 40 points below me, so there is definitely a chance I could lose. My other drivers are Kurt Busch, Carl Edwards, JJ Yeley, Dave Streme, Martin Truex, Jeremy Mayfield and Juan Montoya. I can't wait to watch on Sunday. By the way, my husband is in second to last place (93 out of 94). He thinks 'we might win', I keep telling him I'm not sure which part of me he thinks equates to we:laugh: . He's so cute!

More Nascar, sorry ya'll only one more week.....

JOTW: you did some good pickin' (notice, I've become southern again when talking about Nascar). Especially since you "say" you didn't know anything about the sport b4. We here in Seattle think you must have gotten some coaching to come up with Busch, Edwards, Truex and JOHNSON! I'd be worried about Stremme and Montoya, though. They seem to always be where the wreck is. Montoya goes out in spectacular fashion, though. Upside down, inside out and on fire!

Try to catch "NASCAR'S Championship Week" on SPEED this week. It's fun! (I'm watchin' it now.)

I'll be watchin Homestead. Edge of my bleacher. :glasses:

Hey Girlfriend! Wow, good for you that you get to see it in Homestead. Seriously, it took me five minutes to look at names, grab a highlighter and make my selections. What little I knew didn't amount to anything more than thinking Jimmy was cute......That's why this is so funny. Next year I'll mess up because I'll actually be using my brain to think about it

I'll watch Championship Week - thanks for tip and enjoy yourself!!!!
