My plan? I plan to have 2 cups every morning. I drink it the way I like, then just factor the calories into my daily goals.0

I drink mine black so I don't have to worry about it. Learning to drink coffee black can be tough, but worth it in my opinion. You might try flavored coffees to start off with.0

Flavored creamer and 2 Sweet N Low... Fits in my daily calorie goals just fine.
Except this morning I was out of flavored creamer at home, so I skipped coffee.. IM DRAGGIN..0 -

Just pulled out my sugar free DaVinci flavored syrups from Sams Club....a 750 ml bottle costs under $5.00, it comes in a couple Vanilla flavors, Kahlua, Carmel etc. Nutrition facts says zero calories on all of the bottles I have

half n half + 3 spoons sugar. Coffee is an appetite suppressant so although my cup is about ~140 calories I'm satiated for awhile. Also, I cut down from ~400 calorie average drinks from starbucks to ~140...
^ same here. I was spending alot of money on VENTI drinks at Starbucks-weekly-think my kids were even addicted to cake pops LOL. No I might have it once every 2 weeks-but cant finish the VENTI. I now make coffee and use single creamers and just add ice to my cup. I try to stay away from the coffee cart at work as well. I also add creamer to my coffee. if i am going over calories or am on my best behavior, I will skip the creamer and add fat free milk and 1 sugar. <
not drinking coffee everyday so I need less of it, and typically get decaf LOL0 -
This sounds amazing!0

Generally no milk or sugar...
But virgin coconut oil is great in coffee. It gets a bad rep, but it's VERY healthy.0 -
I usually have one cup in the afternoon as my "snack" and I go with 1.5 dl whole milk (a lot of froth) which is about 99cals and keeps me satisfied and warm and full till my next meal. And sometimes some cinnamon for flavor and blood sugar.
And sometimes after lunch or dinner an espresso black with some cinnamon.0 -
Coffee was the first thing in my plan. But I have always had it for years with a no calorie sweetner and skim milk. Most of the calories are in the milk, I use about 1 cup of skim milk over two mugs of coffee. No biggie. If I want flavor, I get flavored coffee, not flavored additives.0
-
I too use a few tbsp of flavored creamer until I can wean myself off. I used to do full fat/full calorie lattes so it's a big improvement!0
-
black... I love the taste of coffee so never add any flavored crap :laugh:0
-
I like iced coffee from Dunkin Donuts or the coffee from starbucks lol0

Black coffee.
If you need to add stuff to it, you need to stop buying bad coffee.
Haha I totally agree! I drink mine black and I buy it from a great local store, grind it at home, and make it in a french press. I'm totally a coffee snob! =/0 -
Yea... I use 3 tbs for a large cup of homemade iced coffe. Costs me about 90 calories a day but I work mine in too. Thats the one thing Ive refused to give up so far. LoL!0
-
I drink at least 3 cups a day...and I use no calorie sweetner and alternate between fat-free half-half and sugar-free or fat-free flavored creamers....it is part of my daily calorie goals.....I gave up my wine...and gummy bears!! Keeping my coffee:)0
-
Oh, I would NEVER give up coffee. It is a wonderful thing I love hot tea, too...but coffee way more!! I love hearing all the suggestions, though0

Sugar free Vanilla Coffeemate and Splenda...15 cals!0

Still holding in to the last carton of egg nog , so right now black with 1tbsp eggnog. Once the carton is done ill go back to black with unsweetened almond milk.0
-
I drink it with almond milk and a bit of truvia. i also have those sugar-free coffee syrups like starbucks has, but i don't use them all often. the hazelnut is good, though.
i'm going to try the protein powder thing today, seems like a good idea. usually once i drink my coffee in the AM i am not hungry until later so might as well get some protein in while I'm at it.0 -
Sugar Free Hazelnut Coffeemate - I can have 3-4 tbl in my 2-3 cups of coffee and it's only about 50 cal. and little to no fat. I don't eat a huge breakfast so I can afford that little bit of calorie splurge. It's when I go for the Baileys Irish Cream Caramel creamer (non-alcoholic) that I get in trouble - those babies are at least 40 cal a tbl. with fat to boot.
Or, fat free half & half - an oxymoron I know - but it seems like the real thing in coffee0 -

sugar free coffee syrup!! .. where does one buy that?0 -
I drink 1-2 cups a day with about 1/4 cup whole milk and a splach of half-and- half (1st cup only) also a tsp of real sugar. It's around 75-80 calories/ cup and I factor it into my calorie goal.0

I cannot and will not give up the coffee!!!
It's my vice that I love and you will have to pry it out of my fingers.
I take mine with creamer and that's it. Enough to make it change color a little bit. My guess it's probably about two teaspoons. I don't require a lot. I used to...but I started decreasing it. I can drink it black if I have to... But life is too short to always deny yourself something you love. ....like coffee and it's yummy creamer.0 -
Every morning I have a 16 oz. coffee with about a 1/4 cup of half and half. It's 85 delicious calories and worth every sip.0

Oh, no. It is way too bitter and I buy good coffee. Can't drink the cheap stuff!! I make it a point to buy free trade, tho. I do like Green Mountain. And Starbucks I do like freshly ground coffee!! Yummy!0 -
THe dietician told me that you can boil nestle condensed milk and shake it up pretty good to make it frothy, or you can do it cold... and it is really yummy... I have YET to try it. Its not like I have two cans in my pantry or anything...0

I just started today. My coffee usually has milk and 2tsp of sugar and I usually have 2 everymorning. Im cutting it down to 1 coffee with 1tsp sugar and 1%milk. I can't go without my coffee! Someone was asking for a great smoothie recipe. Try green smoothies.I put spinach, kale, frozen banana, frozen peaches, frozen pinapple, fresh lemon juice, freshly grated ginger and water. Sooo yummy and refreshing. Make sure you don't forget the banana cause it keeps it smooth and hides the tast of the greens. I also sometimes put soaked chia in it.0

I use 3 tbsp 1/2+1/2 and 2 tbsp sugar. Over many years I've tried to make my coffee "healthier" and it just makes me cranky. If I have more than one cup I drink it black though. I use fair trade organic coffee in a french press as well. For some reason (brain damage possibly) adding cream and sugar helps me appreciate the depth of the flavor. When I have to drink crap coffee I drink it black.0 -

I've gotten so bad about wanting good coffee that I've started ordering bags from a company that ships within 24 hours of roasting the beans so that I can have the freshest possible at-home brew. It really does make all the difference.0
