26.4 miles in the 2015 Charleston marathon where the lead car took a wrong turn in the first mile and made the course 0.2 miles too long (although my Garmin reading was 26.8 miles). Those last 0.2 miles were a beast...haha! But, in their defense, they handled the situation well. They had the Boston Athletic Association come down and measure the course and corrected everybody's times for the extra distance.

Depends entirely on what's chasing me.

I just worked myself up to running 1 mile without stopping or slowing to a crawl. I know it doesn't sound like much but I am so proud of myself. I do walk/jog intervals for 4 miles a day but have never been able to run one continually.

When the girl at work who fancies me is chasing, several more miles than I expected....

I don't know. I am limited at work by time. I can only run a 5k during my lunch break and I pretty much don't run outside of work. I'm assuming I could probably go at least 5-6 miles at a 7.5mph pace and probably up to 10 miles at 6.5-7mph pace. I currently run 7:30-7:47 minute miles (7.7 - 8.0mph pace), so guessing based off of that.

Done 2 half marathons, another booked for September. Hoping to be ready for a full by 2017.

I used to be a distance runner until I damaged the cartilage in my knees. I never run more than 3 miles at a time anymore. I enjoy distance walking more now, and so do my knees, lol. ;)

The most I've run in one day was 62-ish miles (100km). I'm looking to do a 100 miler next year!

A little over three. I think I could make it four but never have tried. I am not sure if I want to do more or not but if I do it will be when I can stick to a training schedule and not have to use a stroller. I completed the C25K over two years ago with a stroller and would do maybe one or two three mile runs a week after that. Late last year was the first time I ran without a stroller and it was so much easier. I only get to really go out once a week now though so I will be sticking with the 3 miles at least until my youngest starts a couple day of preschool in fall.

The most I've ever run was a bit over 7 (while training for a 5K). The most I've run recently was 4 miles but I haven't run much since my last race in November. Right now maybe 1.5-2 miles if it's flat. I really need to build my stamina back up; I've been prioritizing strength training the last few months and also had a back injury that sidelined me for most of February.

I've done half marathons before, but then gained back weight. In my current weight loss period (past 7 months) my long runs have creeped up to 10 miles @ 930 pace.

I've never personally measured the distance, but by the time I make it to the bench press from the door im usually pretty winded.

The longest was 11 miles. That was rough. I was in pain for days. I usually go for 2-3 miles at a time.

I am not sure. I love to run and once I find my breath and my rhythm I feel like I could run forever

What's the difference? Jogging *is* running.

This is a great thread! Love to see where people are at in their fitness goals. I'm training marathon and right now I've worked up to 4 miles at 10:45 min/miles ;) Gettin' there ;)

I walk, can't run due to bad knees, 8 miles most every day and the most I think it was around 14 miles.

I've seen like 5 of these in past day.

Anyway since someone has been waiting years for my response I would say I could run 10 if i wanted to but I rarely like to go beyond an hour. A nice 5 miler through trails on a weekend is a nice workout and I can function the rest of the day. During the week usually 3 miles.

Oh. Ok, 5 miles then. The slow sustainable jog, silly little prancing steps. It doesn't feel like running, and takes me more than 11 minutes to go each mile. Slower than my fastest walking pace, but I don't think I could speed walk 5 miles, the jog is more efficient.

If taking small walking breaks still counts, then I ran just under 5 miles yesterday on a dirt path in the woods. It took an hour and 20 min and I was spent!
