    I don't know if this counts as popular shows... but I can't freakin stand "The Office" .
    These are older shows, but hate "Friends" and "Seinfeld".

    I hate the comedies with the background laughing tracks - if its not funny then its not funny - most of them arent funny. Anything with an X-friends star in it like Cougar Town, whatever Matthew Perry is in etc.

    Love the Walking Dead and Breaking Bad.... it is hard not to find Honey Boo Boo funny - its piggery but if you saw one episode you've seen em all - i saw 2 maybe.

    Dancing with the Stars is aweful. The Kardashians, the Bachelor shows are brutal. Lots of reality is crappy with a few exceptions.

    My teenagers occassionally watch the Family Channel - Disney channel equivilant i think - all those Disney comedies actually make me leave the room. Unfunny and over acted.... but then it is for kids not for me.

    I dont get How i Met Your MOther - i dont hate it but i dont get it or watch it..... seems very overrated.

    And pretty much all american shows. With an exception of Friends, Big Bang Theory, 2 & a half men & Family Guy.

    Biggest Loser, the ones where there are lots of women and one man and he had to choose his true love:sick: and the other one where there are lots of men and one woman. American Idol...I guess any of the so horribly fake competitions. The Tyra Banks model one, too. Sorry, don't know the names, but I did watch them once.

    i LOVE the big bang theory and i AM a nerd. i actually read comic books and dig school (not math though).

    i LOVE joss whedon too! i just took my 9yr old son to the dallas comic con to meet alan tudyk & gina torres since i've molded that kid well. he also got to meet felicia day (he LOVES dr.horrible).

    Wow these are classics! haha I'm surprised you don't like them. The Office does suck now but it used to be so funny.

    American Idol - can't stand the show or the hosts (except Keith Urban)
    All the other singing talent shows
    Any of the reality shows (honey boo, storage wars, jersy, hosewives of whatever town, all of them suck)
    Rachel Ray - her voice makes me want to choke someone.

    i used to LOVE pretty litle liars but omg it gets soooo boring because we never find out who A is!!

    also i LOVED drop dead diva but i just found out they are canceling it!!!!!!!!! omg!!! noooo

    I have a real dislike for watching 'high-continuity' (HC) shows and not catching them at the beginning. It's a bit of a Catch-22:

    I agree. That's what Netflix is for.

    I don't get It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. It's just not funny to me. When I had TV at my work for a little bit I always left it on the comedy channel which would be my favorite channel, but it always seemed to be on IASP or 30 Rock, another not funny show.

    Again, I don't find Two and a Half Men to be funny. I do like most crude humor (Family Guy, The League, South Park, etc) so you would think it would be right up my alley, but something about it makes me angry. I can't put my finger on it. Can't stand that show.

    you would also think I'd like The Simpsons and Futurama but they just don't do it for me.

    Also tried to get into The Tudors. Lasted two episodes. True Blood is terrible.

    This right here is exactly why I don't like Big Bang Theory. I totally understand the humor. I totally get their references I realize what they are "joking" about. But it's just not funny. I feel like people like that show and say they think it's funny just because they think that it makes them look intelligent.

    ETA: It's not that I'm saying that's what you are doing, just people in general. I realize that came off a little aggressive!

    The Big Bang. My sis-in-law loves it, and doesn't get why my husband and I don't becasue "You're geeks, right? It's a show about geeks!" Yeah, it is - but it makes FUN of geeks more often than not, and we're more of a "laughing with you" mentality than a "laughing at you" type.

    Oh, and any given Bachelor/Bachelorette style dating show - because I take marriage pretty seriously, and that show treats it like - well, a game. Or an outlet mall for skanks. Either way, it's annoying.

    Eh, if you can't laugh at yourself, what fun is life?

    Big Bang Theory gives us perspective and lets us not take ourselves too seriously; Community lets us be ourselves. To me, they’re almost two halves of the same coin.

    Oh, I can laugh at myself. BBT just is not funny. It tries too hard to be funny.

    100% agree. I understand the so-called humor just fine, I just think it's stupid. Just because the main characters are smart doesn't mean the show is.
