I work out everyday at least 500 to 600 calories a day and I take in 1200 calories a day minus the ones I am burining. I even join kickboxing classes. I am eating fish, brown rice, wheat bread etc and I am not losing any weight! I am a 46 year old women and I cannot understand why the weight is not coming off. can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? I weight 130 and I am trying to get down to 120. Thanks!

Please start here. This will explain it all.3 -
You are not eating enough. Up your cals to 1700 if you are really burning that much in your exercise. You will have more energy to do your workout. Days you do not work out keep it at 1500.15

having the SAME issues!!!! makes u want to give up!3

You're under eating and over exercising.12
-
The 1200 is before you exercise. If you stay at 1200 and burn 600, you're only netting 600, which translates to starvation. You need to NET 1200.9
-
Not that I am even close to your weight... But, I think 1200 is really low, unless you are eating back your workout calories.5

How long have you been trying and how tall are you?0

I would suggest that you are not eating enough! Sounds odd I know but lots of threads on here talk about it if you are only eating 1200 and burning 600 then you are effectively only consuming 600 cals per day which is not sufficient for your body to function effectively. Try eating back some of your cals and see how you get on for a couple of weeks.9

Possibly you're not eating enough? What's your BMR, TDEE, body fat %?5

You're under eating and over exercising.

You're under eating and over exercising.
!!!
In reality, you're actually eating about 600 calories a day.
No bueno.
Unless you're eating those calories back.2 -
how are your clothes fitting?
you could just be changing your body composition.4 -
You are supposed to eat those 600 calories burned in exercise back. Also, how carefully are you measuring your food? Estimating serving sizes is not going to work for most people. I would suggest using the following to set your calories as an option.

Got EM2WL website! There are also threads here under that name as well.3

It would help if your diary was public, so people could check out what exactly you're eating, how much water you intake, your sodium, etc.
Also, do you mean that you're only eating 1200 cals and then burning 600 on top of that? Or that you're eating 1200 plus the 600 you're burning? Because if you're only eating 1200 overall and then burning 600, it means you only net 600 cals a day, which is definitely not enough. Try eating back at least some of your exercise calories if you aren't already.2 -

You should only be aiming for 1/2lb per week weight loss if you only want to lose 10lbs.
And, instead of only eating 1200 calories, eat back your exercise calories like MFP wants you to do. The program was designed that way for a reason.4 -
You are going to get about 500 different people tell you this same thing. Eat more than 1200. Instead of trying to loose 2 lbs a week, change your setting to 1, that will change your calorie intake for you and like magic you will see the pounds coming off. Also every single day exercising is NOT going to make you loose weight any faster, you body needs a recovery day.
Cue.... another person who will explain it better. I don't want to try and explain why it works this way, it just does. Period.5
