I agree with W! Gotta have sense!
  • As long as you're not either morbidly obese or wasting away, I don't think any reasonable weight is a deal breaker for most men as far as dating goes. I think faces and other features are more defining. I am this way with men, it all comes down to a cute face and hair. However if you're at the beach and all you see are half naked bodies, I think most men would be checking out the athletic or at least hour glass shaped ladies

Thanks for asking the question Hickory!

your welcome but kinda regret asking it.....

all "chit chat fun and games aside"

    i) people respond out of humor, and some respond harshly...
ii) there is no answer to a or b... someone's always gonna pick C or D or E... skinny or chunky, muscles or no muscles, ripped or toned... big boobs or little boobs, booty or no boots...
iii) OP you are beautiful... as you are in the shape you are in... if you are single and looking I can guarantee you that there IS someone (and probably a lot of someones) who would totally love to be with you. (Finding them is another story).
iv) OP, if your shape changes - it should be because you want it to change... not because the majority picked a)
    v) I apologize if my "stop the madness" GIF hurt your feelings... was not intended as such - was intended as "fun and games"
  • you guys need to chill the eff out, she was just asking skinny or chunky don`t take it personal..omg...

    I tell you...

I prefer to see chunky women around because it makes me feel skinny..lol..
I think men prefer them skinny though

    ...What an odd mentality.

heh... I think it's not nearly as odd as you think...

To want to surround yourself with people that are less physically fit or, in your opinion, less attractive in order to feel better about yourself?

I am sure there is a word for this that is escaping me...

there's beautiful gorgeous women who are not skinny, but you missed the point, you take things too seriously of course.
I never said it makes me feel prettier i said skinnier, I am trying to lose weight...lol...Why would I be here if it wasn`t the case..ok just relax it was just a comment

    *sarcasm font back on*

Chunky or curvy. I just ask, do you even lift?
  • I think a better choice of words would have been do men prefer their women to be fit and strong or not. I am working on getting fit and strong but I know that my hubby likes women that are chunky to borderline obese.
You can be chunky or "thick" and still be strong, so no- that's not a better choice of words. You are implying weakness in those that aren't skinny.

In wasnt trying to insult anyone.. i was just wanting to know what men prefer.. a woman with meat or a woman without meat....

I'm an omnivore. I guess I like both.

You greedy mother....YOU WILL CHOOSE ONE AND ONLY ONE! RIGHT NOW!

No I won't. And I will thrive while you all perish in the next ice age.

B!tchy? Shallow? Either one will work.

Those words came to mind, but they just don't feel like enough...

A new word may need to be created.

I like em insecure and vulnerable...that way I can impose my will.
  • My opinion is of little value having been with the same man for thirty-one years, but I would say men prefer women who are happy, bubbly, respectful, lively, fun-loving, easy to get along with, and, with any luck, easy on the eyes. Slender, tall and willowy has been the fashion for quite a while, but men also like curvaceous girls with firm, round 'areas.' Not too much make up. Hair that is soft and not fixed down with hairspray. A woman who is not always asking if something makes her look fat, or if he loves her, or whether he is doing all the things she tells him to do.

Basically, a soft, sweet, sexy woman who would never cheat on him under any circumstances, doesn't nag, and takes some care of her appearance.

Or maybe the pot is calling the kettle black. Yes, lets call her a shallow b!tch...because she made a comment about feelings of inadequacy which tend to be common in people who are overweight and have low self esteem. It's not our fault that society has a fked up view of the way a "beautiful women" should look.

Is it to late to say, with a short skirt and looooong...jacket?
  • As they say in Mexico, bone is for the dog--meat is for the man.
