I have a blood pressure device that checks heart rate too. Been checking for the past few months and it's varied between 40-50. Anyone know if that kind of a range typical?

I'm 45 years old, and my lowest RHR in the last couple weeks was 44. Usually it's 45-48 in the morning or if I'm sitting for a while. If I had more than a couple glasses of wine in the evening, it's a few beats higher the next morning. A year ago it was 55-60, but I've been doing interval training since then.

My maximum was 193 a couple years ago. More important for training, though, is lactate threshold; mine is around 166.

    Usually it's between 60 - 70 when resting.

    150 - 160 when in the "zone"

I am 45, 6'3 185lbs and my RHR is in the low 40's and high 30's. My VO2 is also in the high 60's. I almost always set off the monitors at routine doctors visits when they check my blood pressure and heart rate!

I'm 31 years old and it's around 48bpm. I never measured right after waking up. The number is from sitting on the couch for 5 minutes doing nothing except holding my phone. I am not an athlete and only started excercising a month ago. I wonder if it will get even lower when I get fitter

Mine is always between 45 and 52. Everytime I donate blood they ask if Im on a prescription to lower my heart rate. I think its genetics because my sister also has a low resting heart rate as does my mom.
