    Took a trainer spin this morning while my bread was rising. Upping the goal too.

    2/2 ride: 19.68 miles
    2/3: 9.95

    MTD: 29.63

    I am in for 250 crazy maybe but the weather looks good for the month I am getting a new gel seat and new grips and I am taking it to the speedway and out of the neighborhood so that should help me progress to the next level. Here is what I ave done since getting on my Purple People Eater for the first time in Oct @349 lbs

    February Goal 250. Feb starting weight 325.2
    FEB 1, 2013. 4.05 miles. 37.36 minutes. Recovery ride ( did 15.05 m yesterday)

    Feb 3 , 2013 3.65 miles in 31 minutes (bad day to ride traffic wise superbowl sunday )

    I'd like to join.

    My short-term goal is to lose enough weight and to become fit enough to get back on my carbo/alum road-bike and commence some serious cycling again. I'm a veteran of the "Ride the Bay in a Day" 210km cycling event around Port Philip (Melbourne, Australia), several "Murray to Moyne 520km 24-hour cycle relay challenge" which we did to raise money for medical charities. I've also been the coordinator of a work place Bicycle User Group at a Melbourne metropolitan teaching hospital where I grew the membership from 12 to over 400 and organized for the hospital to invest in a large secure bike-parking cage.

    As part of my cardio routine at the moment I am using a stationary recumbent bike and attend the R.P.M. class as many times a week as I can get to it.

    My goal is pretty modest -- I want to ride to work at least 1 time each week. I used to commute by bike a lot, but then I moved further away and started grad school, etc. I'm having a hard time getting back in the habit, but I really want to, because nothing feels better than a good ride at the beginning and end of the day.

    Hi! I'm in! I would love to get back into the habit of riding my stationary bike on a regular basis. My goal for February is at least 50 miles!

    Feb. 1 - 6 miles

    Feb. 3 - 7 miles

    Feb. 4 - 5 miles

    18 miles so far!

    Feb 2---10 miles (my standard HIIT varied resistance/speed ride)
    Feb 4--12 miles (first LISS hour-long ride and I survived!)
    Total: 22mi/month goal of 120mi

    Back in the summer (uk) I was posting 900 miles a month on here but now because of work and weather I am only riding about 150 miles a month so I will set a modest target of 200 miles and see how it goes. I usually ride about 100 miles a week on the stationery bike but I never count them. Good luck with your targets everyone :wink:

    Hi, Everyone! Welcome to all of the new people and welcome back to everyone returning from a previous thread. Still snowed in and dealing with heavy fog here. I've had to turn to the dreaded dreadmill for my cardio. However, with the groundhog's assurance of an early spring, I am hoping to get out of my house soon.
