Sense of humor is important but you know what is even more important? Intelligence! While I enjoy conversations about what tv show was on last night, I also enjoy talking about other things like video games (yes, we can have a very meaningful discussion about video games), travel, different cultures, music, etc.
Responsibility is paramount with adulthood but under all those bills, job, life, etc there must be something to laugh about in a childish way so any man who isn't afraid to be a kid at heart is golden to me.
Did you see me mention money and 6 pack abs? No. ZzzZzzville0 -

Sense of humour! My fiance and I were best friends before we started dating, and I remember going home at night and still laughing at some of the things he said or did. It really made me fall in love with him. And surprises. Nothing materialistic but little surprises that your thinking about her. I'll be a work and fishing for something in my purse, and I'll find a note he left for me. Or My phone will Buzz with a reminder on my Calender and it's a message that he programmed in there. It's those little things that make me love him so much. 8 years together and he still give me butterflies!0

Humor, personality, intelligence. Not much else worth it in the long run. Looks fade, tight tummies eventually bulge, arms can get flabby, but what's inside sticks around for a lifetime, so it better be awesome!0

I never gave a rats rear end about six pack abs. For me, they had to be TALLER THAN ME, at least some decent muscles on the arms, and a killer sense of humor.
Money would have helped too, but I married for humor. I should have stuck it out for money.

Intelligence. I like someone who challenges me, and who doesn't mind being challenged. I like sarcastic dry humour. I like someone logical, because I'm more of a dreamer/creative so it grounds me. I love to learn from a person who loves to teach. I love to be treated as an equal.0

Bottom line: When it comes to initial contact, women are looking for high-value men that possess multiple qualities, and men are pretty much just going by appearance. I have been with the same guy for 8 years (next month, but let's not be picky). The initial attraction? His eyes, he was tall, and he smiled at me like I was the most important person in the world. He was 19 when we met, he partied, he was attractive TO ME, he was NOT rich, we both made our own money and paid for our own things. The reason we lasted? Because we both mutually respected and cared for the other, and we had lots of good sex.

I'm sure if some less than attractive chubby guy starts hitting on you, desiring you one might say, you're probably going to react a hell of a lot different if Mr. 8% body fat does the same exact thing. Been there done that. Not that I'm 8% body fat by an stretch of the imagination but at 290 I was flat out turned down 100% of the time right out the gate. Some girls even walked away without even speaking back. At 230ish at least I actually get a chance to talk for a couple minutes, though there is still a clear "Oh, heavy guy" vibe women put out. Seriously ladies, drop the nice girl act. You're not fooling anyone.0 -
