    Never Let Me Go.

Seriously. For a week after watching it I'd start awake when I was trying to sleep, thinking "Oh god. That movie was so depressing." It's one of the only films I have no interest in seeing again, specifically because it was too sad.

Philadelphia Story came out about 1 month after my brother died of AIDS. Hit pretty close to home.

I'm so sorry you lost your brother to that terrible disease. Philadelphia had me squalling. A truly touching movie.

    Dancer in the Dark.

Any Aronofsky film, some mentioned above. They are great films, but I can only stomach seeing each one ONCE!

    Titanic
    Katyn (Polish film)
    Life is Beautiful
    Les Miserables
    Schindler's List
    Christmas Shoes

There are some that make me cry the first time I watch it, and then if I watch it again, I might get slightly teary eyed, but that's it.
With Katyn, I cried a little, but was mostly staring at the silent credits in shock.

    ETA:
    7 Pounds
Hachi - I was rather surprised by that one. But it makes me cry a little every time I see it.

Some of the mentioned ones are good, but these are the two though provokers that made me cry at the end:

    Donnie Darko

Pans Labyrinth - don't let the subtitles scare you away, this is one of only two subtitled films I would ever recommend, the story is so amazing there isn't much need for talking.

It was nearly impossible for me to NOT sob out loud in the theatre. I watched it a few eyars later at home and cried and cried and cried out loud. Don't think I'll ever watch it again.

La Vita E Bella (Italian movie about a father and son in a Nazi concentration camp)
Six Feet Under series finale (TV show on HBO but I full sob every time I finish the series... it's the best 15 minutes of TV ever IMO)

Oh and "All Dogs Go To Heaven"

Basically for me, any movie where a dog gets hurts and/or dies.

Turner & Hooch is another one!

The documentary Dear Zachary. It completely wrecked my life for like a month.

yep that was unbelievably depressing. Especially if you are a parent.

Tuesdays with Morrie.~ had to watch this for my HCA course. 20 women bawling in the dark. NICE.

We are Family ( hindi) ~ Think Stepmon but far more dramatic.

Kal Ho Naa Ho ( hindi) ~ About a man Raj who is dying and falls in love with a woman Tina but doesn't let her know about his condition, her current best friend Khalid is madly in love with her so before Raj dies he sets them up.( even thoughTina has finally fallen in love with him.) B A W L I N G ( not actual names in the movie but it was too hard to follow otherwise)

Ishaqzaade (hindi) ~ translates to rebel lovers. based on true stories on the thousand of people of who are killed every year because they fall in love with people outside of their caste or their religion. At the end of the movie the kill each other when they realize that they are outnumbered so that their love can win and not the world hate. Heart breaking.

P.S. I love you. ~ Hey a Non Hindi film what a shocker.
