Just for fun we could start measuring time and distance differently too. Example sentence: "I lost 3 stone, 6 lbs in 4 score, 7 days by running 100 chains a day." :laugh:
I understood stone & score... but not chains. yeah, I'm a silly American. :laugh:0 -
That makes it sound like I have less to lose... only 4 stone 11 lbs. Not as daunting as a number as 67 lbs.
I can see how you would want to use stone as a measurement. So I'm currently 15 stone 2 pounds... so when I lose 3 more pounds I'll be at 14 stone (and change). Cool milestone. I might start doing that.

Of course, here in the States, one must be cautious when telling others one has lost "two stones" regardless of the time frame... I said that to my husband and he replied, "Really? I don't remember your ever having a pair!" :blushing:

I constantly think in lbs, st, kg and elephants penises. I find the variety helps when it comes to various milestones.0

The only value in stones I see is that it is a "grab-able", visible, undeniable amount of weight to gain or lose. As opposed to a pound or kilogram, which could be due to so many factors.0

No thanks, in the US more stones, or having large stones is something to be admired. I sure ain't going around trying to shrink my stones, I do that enough when I run in the cold.0
