Favourite thing at the moment is my cupcakes haha,

    100g oats
    60g unsweetened apple sauce
    40g natural honey
    40g cottage cheese
180 ml any milk (i use fat free)
4 scoops protein powder (120 gram) (tend to use vanilla)
    2 egg whites
and secret ingredient..... 30 grams of low calorie hot chocolate powder, been using white chocolate ones lately

    mix in a bowl,
throw in a cupcake tray, i use a cheap silicon one
bake for 20 mins or so,
    boom!
makes 12 pretty small cupcakes, but really tasty low fat
if anyone wants exact macros ill post them up

    Protein pancakes.

I follow coach leos recipe except i use mashed banana instead of egg white with 3/4 scoop of unflavoured protein powder and substitute milo for coco powder. Makes 1 pancake. -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U6u1RgZRJTA

For a morning or mid-morning protein shake, I usually use yesterday's leftover coffee as a base - frugal and flavourful ....

    - 1/2 cup or so of saved, cold coffee
    - 1 scoop plain whey powder
    - 2-3 tablespoons peanut butter (Kraft; no sugar, no salt)
    - teaspoon vanilla extract
    - generous dashes of cinnamon
    - two ice cubes (adds body, once blended/crushed)

    - sometimes: 1/4 cup 3% - 6% plain yoghurt or 1/4 cup milk
    - sometimes: 2 - 3 tablespoons blueberries

Comes to 400 - 500 calories. The higher-calorie version (more pb; yoghurt) carries me from early morning to lunch without hunger pangs.

Made this last night. SO good!!

    1 cup 1% milk
1 scoop of Kaizen Whey Decadent Chocolate protein
    1 tbsp Peanut Butter
    1 tbsp cream cheese

    it was amazing!! mmm

This sounds really good, but what is it? Do you blend it, roll it, eat like cookie dough, or do something else?

Lets get some protein powder recipes going!

I personally LOVE a scoop of protein powder (vanilla) in with some Great Value (walmart brand) banana cream pie lite yogurt. I mix it in then freeze it until halfway frozen (maybe 20 min?) it is DELICIOUS and awesome after a hard workout! Try it.. its SO good.

    AllMax Decadent Chocolate Milkshake

    Hershey's - Cocoa Natural Unsweetened (2 T Serv), 2 Tbsp
Heb Mootopia Milk - Lactose Free Fat Free Milk, 5.3 oz
    Hexapro - Decadent Chocolate Milkshake, 36 g
    1 cup ice cubes

    Total: 224kcal; 18carb; 4fat; 29prot; 5fiber;

Method: Place all in Vitamix or powerful blender. Blend 1-2 min.
    Makes extra-large size, about 16oz

Thick enough to hurt your cheeks if you use a straw, better to use a spoon. Tastes just like thick chocolate shake. Your friends will accuse you of cheating on your diet. Added bonus its super delish in really hot weather.

Maple Groves Cinnabun Pancakes with Trutein

    Trutein - Cinnabun Protein Powder , 34 g 1 (scoop)
Water - 1/2 cup (or more if you wish, preference)
Maple Grove Farms - Sugar Free Pancake & Waffle Mix (Per Gram), 40 g*
Cream of Tarter - 1 teasp. (adds fluffiness)
    Scant dash cinnamon.

Method: Whisk dry ingredients before adding water. Mix in water. No need to add any eggs or oil. Preheat skillet and grease skillet in your choice (Pam Spray works great). These pancakes will brown a bit faster than traditional recipes, so turn down heat a little bit.

Makes 3 big plate sized pancakes. (Top with Walden Farms brand calorie free syrup if you wish.)

    253kcal; 18carb; 4 fat; 5fiber; 42prot

*Maple Groves has no added sugar, no fake sugar, no sugar at all. You won't miss it.

(Note: you can make traditional pancakes from scratch as a base but adjust your recipe in regard to sugar & fat. I don't need to do this anymore at my age:laugh: )
