I've tried a few things lately because basically I hate the taste of my powder.

Oat Cookies - Literally just mashed banana, rolled oats, chocolate protein powder and dark chocolate. Mash it all together and bake for 10-12 mins. Really nice hot and cold, kinda chewy.

Iced Mocha - Coffee, chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder, touch of milk, mixed with water.

Chocolate Ice cream - 0% Vanilla yoghurt, 3 scoops chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder, touch of sweetener, 2 bananas. Blend it all together, freeze it and keep mixing it up every 1-2 hours to avoid it crystalising.

Hot Chocolate - Simply protein powder, touch of milk, cocoa powder and a small dollop of creme fraiche. Heat it up and mix with boiling water.

Milkshake - 2 scoops with a banana, touch of milk, peanut butter and ice.

I love mixing vanilla Greek yogurt with either Chocolate Mint, Vanilla, or Vanilla
Caramel (all made by MGN) protein powder, and adding either fresh or frozen fruit to it. (I love Trader Joe's Very Cherry Berry Blend, or Blueberries, Raspberries, Strawberries, or Mangos and Pineapples, etc. etc.!) If you use the frozen fruit, it ends up being more like ice cream, whereas with fresh fruit, it's more like pudding. It tastes sinful, but it's not! Sometimes I add granola to the mix, and it's also very yummy.

I make this protein "cookie" that I keep in the freezer. It satisfy a cookie/cake/brownie craving and it's a great way to easily get some healthy fats and protein in. This recipe makes about 15 balls. I store in a freeze bag and grab one as needed.

    1 ripe mashed banana
1 cup natural crunchy peanut butter
1 scoop cocoa whey protein powder
    1 tablespoon grounded chia/flax seeds

Basically I mashed the banana first, then add the peanut butter, then the protein power and grounded chia/flax seeds and mix well. Then I take 2 spoons and create balls, place them in a container to freeze. I sometimes I'll add other items like chocolate chips or raisins etc., but that's the basic recipe.

take any regular baking recipe and swap out anywhere between 1/2 and 1/4 of the flour it called for with protein powder.... half the time it will taste the same but you get about 5 grams more of protein out of it!

When talking about cooking with protein powder, does whey protein powder being denatured by temperatures above 140 degrees F concern you?

Not that it matters I guess. Just wondering.

    Thanks.
Nope! Even though the protein is structured differently, your body is still able to use the amino acids. Eggs coagulate when cooked because their protein is being denatured. Very few people would argue that a cooked egg has less usable protein than a raw one.

Black coffee + Vanilla protein powder (I like EAS) = Latte

They also have a javapro protein powder that already has some coffee in it. It comes in espresso, french vanilla, caramel, hazlenut, and coffee

I tend to keep it simple.
I use Six Star (Muscletch) - Whey Isolated Plus Elite Series
Chocolate protein (1-scoop) and water (12 oz),
Chocolate protein (1-scoop) and coffee (Wolfgang Puck Jamaica Me Crazy, 20 oz, tastes like a mocha), and
Chocolate protein (1-scoop) with rolled oats (1-cup) and water (just enough to allow me to swallow it easily).

I make banana chocolate chip protein muffins and banana blueberry protein pancakes all the time. My newest addiction is pumpkin spice protein muffins. Sometimes I'll add a scoop of vanilla to some oatmeal or Greek yogurt too. I used to make smoothies from dashingdish.com, but my blender broke and I haven't replaced it yet.

I've got Apple Crumble flavour protein powder that is yummy just as a shake (sometimes stirred into cinnamon & sultana porridge), but I'd like to do more with it. Any suggestions?

    My favorite:

    1-2 scoops chocolate powder
    1 frozen banana
    2 T peanut butter
    1 cup spinach
1 cup almond milk or water

It's turns out the most awful shade of greenish brown, but tastes amazing, and I'm full for hours. 2 scoops of powder on lifting days; 1 scoop on rest days.
