    One thing I received as a shower gift that was very helpful was a mesh bag to hold all of the little socks to keep them from getting lost in the wash.

    YES!! I now have bigger ones that my kids put their dirty socks and underwear into -- just tie a knot in it and throw it in the wash, no sorting required!!
