    My goal is to walk atleast 2 miles a day for a goal of 56 miles

    I'm in. We have snow on the ground, so I've been doing Leslie Sansone walking routines that I found on YouTube.

    I love these dvd's they are a true life saver .. even if you only have 10 mins ..... I have alos tried doing jogging on the spot to 1/2 of the time and feel great afterwardg

  • I am in! :smile: I will just log my time because I will be doing different things. Elliptical, walking outside, on an indoor track, or treadmill. My goal is not too grand -- at least 10 minutes every day.

    This is continued from previous Walking Challenges, but its nice when each month has its own thread.

    *** Anyone can join in at any time, the more the merrier, lets keep each other motivated****

    Walking seems like the easiest way to start getting exercise, and even if you can't track distance (or don't want to), tracking time is good too...go for a 10 min walk after dinner, or up it to 30 minutes, you'll be amazed at the end of the month how much more exercise your getting in. :)

    Check in everyday with how far you walked or how long, this is just to motivate us to get in at least some exercise everyday, and keep an eye on each other.


    I want to try to keep this mostly to walking or walking type exercising. treadmills and ellipticals are A-OK.

    Hope to see some more faces in this challenge, we'll start tracking February 1st

    Friday 1st. Walk 3 mile.
    Sat.2nd walked 3.5 mile
    Sun.3rd. walked 1.0 mile on treadmill got busy cleaning all day fitbit 5.32 mile 10,202 steps
    Mon 4th.

    I'm in! My goal is 155.0 miles and 310,000 steps for the month of March!

    03/01 .. 7.50 miles -- 15,306 steps
    03/02 .. 8.85 miles -- 17,960 steps
    02/03 .. 5.28 miles -- 11,536 steps

    I am using fitbit to track miles I have only had it a few days so not going to set a goal.

    I have to say that I'm really impressed by the walking you all are doing! I'm super out of shape for my age, which makes me doubly impressed by those of you who are older and walking so much farther and even taking the stairs!

    Happy Monday everyone. Its beautiful and cold here today. Hope I can get outside for a walk when it warms up. I need the fresh air.

    I started walking last week on a daily basis and am really enjoying it. Count me in. Today I'll be doing a 2.6 mile walk and am aiming to beat the 36 mins I did it in last time.

    Got in 1.47 miles yesterday (Sunday). Also realized I set my ticker wrong! My goal is 100 miles this month-- it will be a challenge but I think I can do it!

    Started my March Walking Challenge on Saturday with 1mile on inclined treadmill.
    Completed 3 miles of multi muscle walking and 1 mile on inclined treadmill on Sunday.
    Completed 4 miles of multi muscle walking and 1 mile on inclined treadmill today! :smile: :wink: :happy:
    I will log in everyday I walk but I plan to walk at least 1 mile a day.

    I'm in. I am new to this site as of last Thursday. I walk to the WII game Walk it Out. So I will post steps and distance.
    Today I did 3500 steps but I forget what the distance was, 1.something:)
