Ok so now you seem the title and wonder what this is about. Well it's actually what it states. Ever since I've changed the way I eat, I'm finding that I'm popping less and it's more if a struggle.
Gone are the earlier days where I would throw mud without trying and it was often. Now that I think back, I also experienced alot of tummy distress and bloating too.
Now I go once a day and its harder to get it out than I ever though. Surprisgly no tummy distress or bloating anymore. And I do eat more fiber than I used to.
So what gives?

Make sure you are getting enough healthy fat in your diet.0
-
You know, not to pick nits, but you could have done without the to in the thread title. Just sayin'.
As to your problem; two words: prune juice.0 -
more water and benefiber, healthy fats and oils0
-
I heard Coffee enemas are the new thing.0

Ok TMI....I end up with the same problem when I eat healthier. I end up making sure I eat extra fiber & take Fiber One and either get gassy or it doesn't help. Since I haven't been eating so well, I'm back to being "normal" in that way. Ugh. Can't win....0

More water.
Yep this0 -
Johnny Footballs Pic is too funny! hahaha Yes PRUNE JUICE! lol and water water water!0
-
you probably are still under your fiber needs and you probably are eating less fat in your diet which can help "grease" the wheels0
-
Is your fat high enough in your diet?0
-
try a good acidophilus pill daily.0
-
Is there anyone out there cuz its gettin' harder and harder to poop....whoaoo whoaoo0
-
I added more fiber to my diet(veggies) and a supplement called psyllium husk and chia seeds. Water about 10-15 cups per day.0
-
Hot coffee always works for me............ tons of water all day every day0
-
more water and up your fiber0
-
More water.
This. From experience. :blushing:0 -
Try some Taco Bell
Only kinda joking. I personally find when I eat too clean, its hard to get things going in the bathroom. Try some fatty foods, give the body something to push out ya know.
*no science to back my statement. Just personal experience*0 -
More water, fibre and letting your body get used to the change which can take anywhere from weeks to months.
Sometimes a big change in what you regularly eat throws your body into shock so it tries to figure out what to do so some regular functions may not function regularly until your body figures out what to do with the increase/decrease.0 -
Ditto on the probiotics. Started them recently and...........yeah.0

if im having trouble--and we are talking 2-3 days of nothing--i switch out my morning tea for coffee. i dont drink coffee very often, and i find that by the time im finished a cup, im running to the bathroom.0

More water, more fat... and if that doesn't work. Glycolax0
-
How did you change your eating habits?
The average American only eats about 14 grams of fiber per day and the body actually needs 30 grams of fiber per day...
Things that come to mind:
More water - I have to drink upwards of 100 ounces each day
More fiber
More movement
More fat - this is important!
If that doesn't work you can try prunes or prune juice. If you need to make your body move your bowels - use prune juice. And if you warm it up - even better. If you just need to make it easier to go (softening it) you can use prunes.
If the above doesn't work you can add colace and miralax. Both require lots of water as well. None of this will work if you aren't adequately hydrated.0 -
More water... and some Senna tea a couple times a week to keep things going.0
-
On a non-diet note, going for a run can help. The impact kind of shakes everything up a bit, if you get my drift.0
-
Also, correct me if I'm wrong but our biology teacher told us on day one, girls dont poop, so am confused.0

Often, when people go on diets, they cut a lot of fat out of their diets because they think fat makes you fat...so they don't get enough healthy fats...and then they can't **** anymore.
More healthy fats
More water
Plenty of fiber0 -
smooth move tea at night will make it happen and i actually love the sun sweet prunes and water. it helps0
-
Agreed with the more water for the more fiber you're eating.
My fave foods to alleviate "hard" poop are frijoles (beans), oil (flax or coconut) and coffee (lotsa good ol' coffee).
Also, when I do a cardio session gravity just sorta pulls it to the backdoor. (especially after coffee)0
