    Physical touch. Not surprising since when we're both home we're in the same room, in the living room we'll both sit on the loveseat, we hold hands in the car or while walking and have no problems sleeping in a double bed.

    He once actually set an alarm on his cell to remind himself to send me a mushy text message. I caught on because it would be the same time every day!!! Lol. But it works for me whatever way he does it:)

    The politics of gifts are just too obnoxious. Not worth it. And I like physical touch with the right people, but I don't equate it with love because I think an awful lot of people just like the touch without the love. Words of affirmation are nice but they often make me uncomfortable. Quality time is wonderful but I'm also a loner... so Acts of Service it is! The way to my heart? Go out of your way to make my life easier or more enjoyable! I guess it makes sense, considering I've been a single mom for the past 20 years.

    My results for Number 1 and 2 were unexpected. But the part about gifts being meaningless to me was very accurate. Frankly, gifts often make me feel guilty about the wasted resources and obligatory false gratitude. My family usually "gifts" each other with charitable donations instead :smile:
