    I've recently put an age limit on my dates.. and it's a minimum.

    And.. I'm okay with a little gray. haha

    Boys usually are a little later hitting puberty than girls so I think with young people it is very common for the boy in a couple to be a year or two older than the girl. I am 68 and when I was growing up, back in the 50's and early 60's, most couples married by the time they were in their early twenties. (probably because no one that I knew lived together before marriage.) Among my age mates now, if I know the age of one of the parties in a couple I usually assume that if it is the man, his wife is two years younger. If it is the woman, her husband is two years older. I will be right about 90 per cent of the time.

    Now with people waiting till they are older to marry, I don't know if there is still the same pattern but I would say that in general, a two year age gap is no gap at all.

    I get the feeling it was a troll question... but just incase it's not.

    If you feel you have you ask, then it's a problem. Though the problem may be with your outlook, not necessarily the age "gap".

    My sweetie is 14 yrs younger than me...but when we're together most people guess him to be older. LOL! As long as we're on an equal playing field (education, career, goals, conversation) that least of my concerns is age.

    But you my dear and the whole 2 yrs "older"...shouldn't even be an issue!

    i like older men, so does my sister, so did my mom...it could be genetic? o.O

    i'm 20 and i usually cut it off around 32, simply because we lose a lot of common ground at that point. i have a friend who is 21 and is engaged to a 44 year old guy...it's sort of creepy in my opinion. i think of it like this....if they could legally drive before you were born, i'd stay away from them.
