There is a Swedish quote that I like: "Det är vägen som är mödan värd." It means "It is the journey that makes the trouble worth while." I remind myself this when I get too impatient with my slow weight-loss. I have to savor every moment.
Are you Swedish ?0 -

The Iron never lies to you. You can walk outside and listen to all kinds of talk, get told that you’re a god or a total *kitten*. The Iron will always kick you the real deal. The Iron is the great reference point, the all-knowing perspective giver. Always there like a beacon in the pitch black. I have found the Iron to be my greatest friend. It never freaks out on me, never runs. Friends may come and go. But two hundred pounds is always two hundred pounds.
Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place, and I don’t care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward; how much you can take and keep moving forward.0
